Moderate Clean Eating March 14/06

Morning ladies!

I did all right yesterday, except for the evil chocolate. Eventually I gave the *$%*$* thing to my SO and told him to hide it.:p

Today:

B - steel cut oats with banana and soy milk
S - apple and 1 piece toast with pb
L - leftover pineapple black bean enchilada, lf yogurt, orange
S - grapes and 12 grain crackers with lf cheese
D - brown rice and veggies

Tonight I'm doing a Powerstrike kickboxing workout:)
 
Shelley, I would be powerless over chocolate in the house!!

Yesterday was good.

Today I actually planned my day!! YAY!!

Br - oatmeal with raspberries, egg beaters, 1/2 WW bagel, coffee
Sn - sweet potato protein smoothie
Ln - WW noodles with cottage cheese, 1/2 c pl ff yogurt, strawberries
Sn - 1/2 c. pl ff yogurt, Weight Watchers cinn crunch cereal
Dn - Italian Style rice and beans, baked couscous and summer squash, large salad with lt. ving. and a little lf cheese
 
Good morning!

May it be a better day than I had yesterday. I ate FOUR chocolate cookies. Man, they tasted good. That was before dinner. And after dinner, I had a piece of PB toast plus a bowl of mixed nuts/raisins. Ladies, I was starving. It's PMS - it hits me like this all the time, and there's nothing I can do about it but eat.

Today:
B - steel cut oats with walnuts; apple; oj
L - Chili and cornbread
D - chickpeas and rice; ww bread
Snacks - it all depends on how hungry I am today. Will try to stay with fruit and nuts. Hopefully "The Hunger" was a one-day event.
 
Hello ladies:
yesterday was pretty good. I am in a mindset that I am not going to go hungry anymore. I have been giving in to snacking but good stuff.

Yesterday was pretty good, here goes today.

B - protien shake, rice cake with PB
L - leftover rigatoni & grilled chicken from Macaroni Grill w/salad
S - Protein bar
D - Whatever hubby makes, probably redbeans & rice.

This morning I did Bryan Kest Power Yoga for the first time.
Even with my back issues I felt really good when I was done. I must admit I sure don't look like the ladies in the class, but heck, like he says "if your doing your best your doing it right". What's the point if I hurt myself again? The funniest part was when I would have to try to look up to see what was going on. It's a wonder I didn't fall over!

Hi Ladies-

You all have some nice menus planned today!

My menu for today:
B- Hot oat bran / soy milk
S- v8
L- boca burger on light english muffin, raw broccoli and honey mustard (to dip) and peppermint tea .
S- coffee, NF yogurt and fruit
d- Split pea soup which is simmering now and smells divine


PS- Dinner preparation is my bewitching hour. I'm thinking it may be a good time to guzzle some extra water.

* I am about done with the oat bran/ soy milk combo and may try some new breakfast ideas. I ate yougurt and kashi and fruit for breakfast for several years and have no desire to go back to it.
