.... made the traditional way, like I do, with granny smith apples, a pure butter crust, a hint of cinnamin and sugar. Or do you like these new, fancy recipes... like hazlenut crusts, walnuts and orange zest, etc? My house smells soooo good right now!:9

Traditional!! Pies, especially fruit pies, and ESPECIALLY apple pie (and pumpkin pie!) are my downfall. :+

PS. I will be right over to save you from all those apple pie calories!

I like the traditional ones too and I love sharp cheddar on hot apple pie, so good!

I am a very good cook but never mastered pastry, I'm thinking that's probably a good thing!:+
