Missing routine on TV Workout session

I work out to Cathe using recorded DVR sessions off of fit TV. In her 'Chest and Back' session, Cathe sits up just after she completes the first set of chest flys, and mentions something about "she might have reduce her weight to 12 lbs because she's already feeling 'it' real early in the workout and we still have inclines left to do."

Here's the question. The incline sets were left out of the video. Does anyone know how she sets up and performs her inclines? Would love to know.

Thanks:)

Hi there!

Cathe does incline chest flys on the step where I believe there are three risers on one end and one riser at another. Lay down on your back so that your head is on the higher end. She does three sets of 8 reps of flys using the 6/2 Slow and Heavy count. It's the same thing as the other flys you've done (that the tv version has) but on an incline. (I hope I'm remembering correctly--if I'm wrong hopefully someone will chime in!!)

Hope that helps!! :)

I am about to go do S&H chest in a few minutes...I will report back afterwards. But that sounds right to me.

edit: Welcome Kevin!

I'm back! There are 3 sets of 8 incline bench presses and also 3 sets of 8 incline flys. Cathe is using different risers than the ones I have, so she uses an incline of 2 risers at her head and 1 at her feet. (I used 3 and 1 of the regular risers.)

I wasn't sure I remembered what weights she used, but the weight worksheets say she uses 15s for the bench presses and for the flys she does the first set with 15 and then switches to 12s for the second two sets. That sounds right.

HTH! (BTW, the Slow and Heavy DVD has all of the complete workouts on one disk. I highly recommend it if you like what you've seen on FitTV!)

edit: and yes, the count is the same slow & heavy count as the rest of the sets.
