miscarriage
JWBean,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I've been to several specialists for this problem and was told that there is no known or proven connection between exercise and activity (unless its extreme like jumping out of airplanes or severe car accidents) that are linked to pregnancy loss. Dr's now don't think a link exists for most healthy people. It is always recommended not to add new activities or start a hard core program, but keeping up with your normal activities is actually recommended.
You might want to do some research on the web, there is a site called inciid, i think its inciid.org that has tons of info. The truth is, not much is truly understood about early pregnancy loss, probably because its considered a woman's problem. If it happened to men, I bet we'd know all about it. I just checked the site and they are having a chat on friday entitled the pathology of miscarriage.
I also highly recommend the book, Motherhood After Miscarriage. Again, I'd like to let you know how sorry I am and that you aren't alone. Most people just don't understand what to say or do in this situation which makes it so much harder. But please don't let anyone tell you that your feelings are wrong - even intense anger.
