Minimum equipment

I would really like to see a new resistance training series or program like STS that requires only a step and dumbbells (no high step, barbell). I don't wish to spend more money buying more equipment and it's a pain to drug various equipment to my living room every time I exercise.
 
I so second this!

Sometimes I'd love to do a Cathe workout, but just don't have the time or energy to drag out every piece of equipment I own, so I do something else that uses less stuff.

Please Cathe, go back to the basics, only a few dumbbells and a mat!
 
I would also like to see Cathe going back to simple equipment using stability ball, dyna band, weights and step. I have not bought more DVDs after STS Shock Cardio (no STS) as I do not have the STS tower, sliding disc, etc. I live in the UK which means I cannot purchase the tower and ship it here. And work out in my bedroom which does not have space to store more and more equipment - I would not have room to do the workout otherwise! I have carpet in the room so not sure I could use the sliding disc.

I think over the years, Cathe has moved away from the philosophy that exercise is inexpensive and easy to do and the workouts have become more expensive and complicated. I found this fitness instructor I found on the internet and who posts free workouts on her web site. Perhaps Cathe can be inspired by her workouts and produce something similar??

I am interested in the lower impact series but not sure what equipment we need for that.

I do have sooooooooo much equipment and would love to see a series like STS that uses very little equipment and continues to bring on the advanced workouts. Of course in a new and refreshing way.

Like you say, it's hard, when you don't have a gym, to bring out all that equipment. It's like a workout in itself. lOL:eek:

I checked out bodyrock and OMG! It's amazing! Very good examples on workouting out outrageously/advance with hardly any equipment.

I'm all for saving time and money.

Total Body Strength DVD with minimal equipment

Ha, funny I stumbled on this thread today because just this morning I was thinking, "I wish Cathe had a strength DVD where she only uses dumbbells...". When working out early in the morning, I just dont have time to gather a lot of equipment. Dumbbells are much easier to manage at 5:00 in the morning than changing out a barbell.

The main reason I absolutely LOVE the upper body portion on Body Max 2 is because Cathe only uses two sets of dumbbells. It's fantastic! I would like to see a TOTAL BODY strength DVD using only dumbbells.

Perhaps with the new Low Impact series, there will not be a barbell and several other pieces of equipment since she is introducing the slide and glide disks for lower body....(fingers crossed!) ;)
