Hi everyone. I used to post on here when I was pregnant with my DD in 2005. Since then I've really only lurked on this forum.

Anyway here's my background: DD in 2005 (no complications at all),
1st miscarriage Dec 2007 (6 1/2 weeks), 2nd miscarriage Oct 2008 (10 1/2 weeks).

Since then I've been to a Maternal Fetal Specialist who has diagnosed me with Homogeneous Factor V Leiden and MTHFR gene mutation both of which cause clotting in the placenta, fetus and therefore miscarriages. Anyway, I'm now on Aspirin daily and we're currently TTC and when I do I'll have to go on daily injections of Lovenox to help keep my blood from clotting and causing miscarriages.

Anyway, I would love to join in your group if you don't mind.

Hi Wendy..welcome!
I too have had 2 m/c in the past year. 1st in Oct 07 and then June 08. Just Sunday I found out I am preg. Not very far along at all. I am on progesterone suppositories for 12 weeks. Im very scared, but trying to keep my hopes up. My age is most likely the factore for my m/c..I am 42

Susan- I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I know what you mean about being scared. I started keeping a pregnancy for my DD when I found out I was pregnant with her. I started a journal when I found out I was pregnant the 2nd time. Then I miscarried. I thought, "surely this won't happen again" so I started a journal again. Well, I miscarried again.
Now, I can't wait to get pregnant but I'm so scared. It's just too emotionally draining to get your hopes up then miscarry. I too am sooo scared - I just can't deal with losing another baby. I wish you the best and I hope to be joining you on this pregnancy journey soon.

Hi Wendy. I understand your pain. I'm still healing (and have recently decided I'll be healing FOREVER) after a early 2nd trimesester m/c July 30th.

Please join us in TTC/Post miscarraige support! TTC= Trying To Conceive. I have found it very supportive & we talk about just about anything (not just sex!!!).

Anywho, welcome!!!
