Michael Thurmond six week makeover

Hi Lori,
I tried this a few years ago and I thought it was decent, but overpriced. The diet boils down to very clean eating 6 times a day and having 2 oz of protein and some type of vegetable at each meal. Then at some of the meals you have fruit or a restricted list of whole grains. The package is organized nicely with a flip-card spiral book, but for me, the calories were too low for the level of exercise I was doing. The recommended exercise in the program is less than most Cathe workouts. He has a tape with band workouts which are very basic. But again, some of the info and educational material is good -- I just don't know if I'd recommend the package for the cost.

I noticed the other day that the price was marked down, so maybe it's a better deal now. I think there is similar info in Body for Life by Bill Phillips and Fat Flush diet.

I also like the book Volumetrics by Barbara Rolls. But over the past year, I've gradually moved toward eating a Vegan diet and I like the book "Eat to Live," (Thanks Carole ), "Becoming Vegan" by Brenda Davis (?) and Sports Nutrition for the Vegetarian Athlete by Lisa Dorfman.

Hope this helps,
Barb:) :) :) :)
