Melody,

I just wanted to let you know that I recently looked at Will's care page. Do you mind me asking what happened to him?

I have to say you are a blessing; adopting those boys and taking such good care of them. God Bless You! I am keeping Wil (and your family) in my prayers.

Thanks Shelley (and I know I said I was leaving..blah,blah,blah :))

Wow, this story is so inspiring. My mom teaches early childhood special education. She had a little boy with CP. His means of getting around was rolling from place to place. It was sad, but amazing at the same time. The greatest thing about him is that he ALWAYS had a smile on his face. My mom's goal for him (she had him for 2 years) was to get him to walk. I don't think she reached that goal, but she did fight to get him a special device that allowed him to stand. He kind of leaned into this thing and the straps held him up. He loved it!! I can't wait to tell my mom about Wil!

ps...I missed this story. My computer was broken at the time.

Oh, and wanted to say that Wil writes like an adult. I read the journal on his page. It took me a while to figure out that he was the author of most of it!!! WOW!!!!

Makes me think I should be teaching my son at home. My oldest just started Kindergarten. On the 3rd day of school he came home and told his little brother "I ain't got none".....I stopped dead in my tracks and almost fell over ;). I have had him at home for 6 years and he has never said ain't...let alone ain't got none!!!!

Sara,

I'm sorry I wasn't online when you posted this. Things have been a bit "crazy" at our house lately.

Thanks for visiting Wil's page. He's doing great and counting down the days til the casts come off on the 13th. BTW Wil tells me what to type and I type for him, but it is with a bit of editing. :) He and his brothers do express themselves quite well and of that I am very proud.

Shelli, thanks for responding to Sara.:)
