<--woke up at 0200
<--was sitting on toilet when remembered that <--never brought CTX in from car when got home last night!x(
<--lent to co-worker looking for good home workouts
<--not surprised in the least that co-worker enjoyed Cathe!!!
<--tearing car apart to look for CTX
<--remembered getting in car at hospital with it in hand, because was juggling knitting bag as well
<--thankfully found it between console and seat!:D
<--hopes GA boys settled down and slept
<--thinks that vanilla frosting on candles is yummy!
<--of course, used to chew beeswax as a child, too!:D
<--found yummy candle that smelled like vanilla birthday cake (complete with wax confetti) for friend who has surgery and won't be able to eat anything for a week or so}(
<--she has to build up to eating gradually, but for now, she is on liquids and protein shakes
<--DH had a hard time with the test yesterday only because they couldn't get his heartrate up to his max of 152.
<--couldn't get on TM because of disabilities, so were trying to chemically induce the tachycardia
<--was very, very happy to hear which cardiologist was in the room:D
<--LOVES this cardiologist!!! He's very, very, very nice and very, very, very good with his patients!!!

<--hopes the Megsdoodle got her hot chocolate last night
<--hopes the headache went away, as well
<--says that if the A&D ointment doesn't work, has heard from many people here that something called Boudreaux's Butt Cream is totally AWESOME for that problem
<--would be happy to send some to the minidoodles if MammaDoodle can't find any!, cuz, maybe it's a southern thang!!!

<--needs to return to bed, with a light heart, now that CTX is back home!
<--DH asked, increduously (like the big word, Robin?) "are you going to watch that NOW?"
<--said, no, just wanted to make sure it got home safely!!!

<--really knows <--is crazy now, just spent part of work bonus on more Cathe (Kick, Punch, Crunch and GS upper body tapes)x(

<---is glad Amy's DH's test is done and hope the results are good
<---tells Amy <---saw my friend who had the same procedure as your friend last night - she has lost 30 lbs since she had it done last month and is very happy

I feel horrible right now. Re the babysitting gig. When it was discussed on the phone I was under the impression that it would just be the baby all day, 8-3, and the two older kids would be in school. I quoted her a price for the baby. Then Mon when she stopped up, she said she didn't get home from work till almost 6pm (when normally my cutoff is 5) so I would have the 5 and 7 YO for 3 hours a day too after school. I got to thinking yesterday, hey, I think I should be paid for the other kids too, especially 3 hours, and it screwed me up TH and F since I am supposed to be at the diner at 5. SOooo, I called and discussed it with her last night, and she was going to try to ask someone to watch the older two after school. So she calls me this mornign and says she isn't going to work today and she was going to try to find someone else. She didn't think she needed me. Then I could tell she was crying when she hung up. FEEL HORRIBLE. So I called her right back and asked what was wrong and if there was aproblem. SHe basically is worried cuz she doesn't know what she can afford, and she knows I deserve more with the other 2 and such. I totally understand. So I told her that we can work it out. That I would keep the above price for 2 weeks, till she gets back to work and gets paid. Then we would sit down together and work out an affordable price, if she could maybe find someone to pick them up early on th and f, so I can go to work. I felt terrible, because I understand all to well. I told her to think about it and call me tonight.

<--however is worried that the babysitting is going to keep Meg from getting to the diner on time, and therefore interfere with her ability to make money at the diner
<--is very glad that her PMS is over today
<--says <-- was so difficult yesterday, DT pretended not to know her in public!! :eek: :eek:
<--says we were on our way to vote in the primaries, and people kept handing <-- leaflets about who to vote for right outside the voting poll
<--finally just turned around and said "do you really think handing me that pamphlet is going to change my mind about who I'm going to vote for???????"
<--says then DT sped about a block ahead and pretended not to know me :eek:

<--told DT the PMS is over and it's safe to be near <-- today :D

<---thinks Meg is very compassionate and understanding about others' situtations
<---thinks that yes, Meg did the right thing, being willing to work something out with the other mom, and being willing to help her out while she's not working
<---agrees that yes, Meg definitely needs to get paid for this work
<---hopes that whatever is worked out will be good for Meg!!!
