Maybe A Body Building Update?

Thank you Cathe for the first Body Building Rotation, I was 60 then. Was 61 (I think) in the photo and now 65. It's been awhile. If at all possible, could you update this rotation? Not that there is anything wrong with it. The rotation rocks and no doubt my muscles are happy! But would like to use newer DVD's. Love you Cathe, you've made my life so much better and healthier. No pressure really, only when and if you have the time.

This is what you wrote me:

Hi Janie! Good for you for looking for continued progress an success.

Do STS in its entirety.

Take one week off.

Do Gym Styles for one month.

Do the Low Impact series for two weeks.

Do Four Day Split for one month.

Do Shock Cardio Series for two weeks.

Do STS Meso two and Meso three.

All the while eat a super clean diet. I tweak the Paleo diet to suit my needs. But basically eat very lean lean, natural, non processed foods, lots of dark green veggies, brown rice, sweet potatoes, quinoa, healthy fruits in small portions, fish, poultry, etc. Water, green tea are my main source of liquids. I throw in some organic 100% pure tart cherry juice for my joints and a great source of antioxidants too.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!

Great to hear from you...I remember you developed tendinitis...did it resolve and allow you to get back to lifting?

It's great staying in shape with Cathe she's made my life a healthier at 64. I remember seeing this when you first requested the rotation. I'm curious if when you did this rotation you incorporated cardio when you did STS and Gym Style for the 3 and 1 month respectively or just the weight work.

Trixoo, I was so frustrated with myself and the injury, because I wanted to lift more when my body wasn't ready and hurt myself. It took a long time to heal. Almost a year. I recentlyy started back into weight lifting again. With a fresh outlook and forgiving myself. I think this time it will even be better. I can already tell I still have muscle memory. And it feels wonderful getting in shape again.

Myputer, I did do cardio on most days I didn't lift weight. Mainly the short workouts because they were timesavers. But when I did have the rare time I also did steady state cardio as well. Also Sometimes biking, stair climber on wet days and some fast walking on the beach... I also used some of Cathe's STS cardio rotations you can follow in the STS Forums.

Take care,
