Good morning ladies..

Well, I think Lauren is on the mend. She still has the sore throat. But, the fever has not been back. Chris seems to be over his cold. Thank goodness. Better just in time for his baseball game tomorrow night...

Ok, workout for me today is Imax 3. Love the Imax workouts!!!

Time to get going on this day....Talk to you later!!

Good morning and Happy Tuesday! I hope today treats you better, Chris. Kathy, I'm glad to hear Lauren is on the mend!!

Quickly this morning -- I'm already behind schedule and we have to leave early for a NASA field trip. I'm going on it, so won't be back for quite a while. I did another bodyrock/kettlebell workout this morning -- it was a good one! But now I'm late!

Have a good one! Waves to Joanne and Hottie!

Hi Kathy!

Glad to hear that Lauren and Chris are better! Sometimes those things take forever to go away. Question for you, does the entire family go to Chris' baseball games? I always WISH we could go to Zach's, but the other boys have homework, etc, that is too much to finish to be able to go. ... Oh! IMAX 3! Now that one I have no dread! it is fun and HARD!!!

Today is another busy one. I have Jake's reading group this morning, and he has a Memorial Day concert at 1p, but when I asked if he wanted me to go , he said, "I don't care mom. I don't see you anyways". Which is true. i'm in a HUGE crowd and he sings with the entire 2nd grade, ONE song. I am very tempted to skip it. ... There's the grocery store and Zach has a doctor's appt with his diabetes doc today. Greg is taking him. Which means I do newspapers with Alex and Jake, who are going to whine and give me a hard time. ... etc etc etc!! LOL!

So my workout is going to happen after Jake's reading group this morning. I'm going to do an upper body premix from Push/Pull and then do BBL High and Tight!

*waves* to Joanne, Beth and Hottie!!!

Beth: Enjoy the field trip..Love the NASA stuff. We went to the air/space museum near us and it had one of the space shuttles on display. Neat!!

Chris: Yes, we all go to Chris' games when we can. I miss alot of Saturday late afternoon games when Lauren needs to get to choir practice. But, during the week we go when nothing gets in the way. I usually have Lauren and chris done with their homework by the time the games start. Although, Lauren was still working on her math assignment last night at bedtime.. Vic is the team's coach so he goes no matter what. Looking forwar to imax3 today. I don't think I have done it in several weeks. Can't remember if it was on last month's rotation..Wow, that is a busy day..We are sticking to home today since Lauren is mending..I called her drawing teacher and told her she wasn't going to be there today...Have a great workout!!

Be to school lessons!! But, we are almost done. Today is the last day of our regular lessons and then tomorrow we have a couple of days of testing their knowledge for the school board. Thankfully, it doesn't take long to get those results back and I can see how they have done this year with the learning process...

Back!

I ended up doing a premix from Supersets, all upper body, and then did do High and Tight from BBL. God that burns my butt! Guess that's good! LOL!

It is so HOT out today, supposed to reach 90-ish. I thought about a run. But I didn't want to go out when it was the hottest out. Maybe I'll try to get out first thing tomorrow AM, before it gets hot again.

Beth: Guess we're adding another beer to the list!! :) Oh, NASA, that sounds like fun! YAY for bodyrock/kb workout!! Glad you got a good one in before the FT. Sounds like you're busy there too!!

Kathy
: That's great you guys get to go to the games! Although the last time all of us went, Zach requested we don't anymore. He was "embarassed" by his 10 yr old brother jumping rope. The other team members asked who the "gay" kid was jumping rope. I just love the way kids talk about others. LOVE IT!... WOW! Last day of classes! Cool!! The kids must be excited! But maybe not for the testing. I'm sure they will do great. You have some smark kiddos there!!

Hi ladies. Man, I was feeling really crappy this morning. I couldn't even muster the energy to post!! Needless to say, I slept in. No workout today. I was planning to run at lunch, but figured I was better off not going. Or, was too lazy to go is more like it! :( I think it's just TOM stuff. Ick. Anyway, I've been doing mostly Insanity workouts. Loving them this time!! I think I liked them last time I did them, but burned out on them before the end of the first month. So, we'll see how far I get this time!

I forget who asked if the whole family goes to games. Well, we all do, usually. And, honestly, sometimes it's a PITA!! I love to go, but don't think all the kids always need to go. DH says they should go to support their brother and that's all well and good and I get his point. But, when they sit there and moan and complain the whole time that it is boring and they don't want to be there and they post on FB that they are at their brothers game and are bored out of their minds, it just doesn't seem worth it!

Great workouts for everyone today!!

Kathy, glad to hear the kids are on the mend! Woo hoo for the almost end of school!! Our kids are done early next week, but they are essentially "done". No more homework and they've turned in their books. I asked Ian what they are doing and he said "nothing - the teachers just talk to us about random stuff". ;) OK... We do have a few field trips this week.

Chris, wow, Zach lost his backpack AND phone? Yikes! Has it turned up yet? How were the grumpkies? Not sure I even know what they are! It is smoking hot here too, and we have no air conditioning. Not happy. 90s over the weekend, but it's supposed to slowly cool off this week. The kids have been having a blast having water fights, so at least they've been enjoying it. Complaining about how hot the house is, though.

Beth, that field trip sounds fun!!

I may try to just go for a walk during lunch. Maybe some fresh air will liven me up.

Joanne

Back from the field trip -- it was great! They had great activities for the kids and it was lead by these three old retired NASA guys -- fun stuff. But, it's 52 and raining here! It feels so cold, and has for days! I've been wearing my big coat all day long for at least the second day in a row. Crazy to think it's hot where you are, Chris!

Joanne, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well! I hope you perk up. Sure wish my kids were DONE. I am in 5th grade project hell.... they've had three due in the last week and Travis has procrastinated on all of them. I'm so sick of the drama and all. You guys know what I mean. It'll all be done Thursday, and then just another couple of easy weeks of school. I still need to get the summer figured out!!

Good luck with the testing, Kathy!

Hi again!

Yes, Joanne, I do hope you feel better! My body is suddenly rebelling against something. The "summer" heat, maybe? My head started getting heavy and achey right before supper.

Alex is at a friends with an inground pool. He was just supposed to be there until 5:30. Somehow he got himself supper over there, and more swimming afterwards! the little poop!

So it was just supper for me and Jake. I did little pizzas. but I'm tired and have no energy to even clean up the small amt of dishes that are there. It's HOT here!

Beth: i swear, we have been trading weather the last few months! We're supposed to have 90 tomorrow too! and then back down to 70, and then climbing back up slowly for the weekend. 52 and rainy sounds really icky! ... The NASA trip sounds like it was a good one to chaperone! We went on a Field Trip a few years ago, and a former astronaut was there to speak too. (he was the guy that was on Survivor). anyways, the speach was VERY cool, on how he became an astronaut.

Joanne: Actually my boys don't mind going to the games so much, since they hardly go! LOL!. And we always take 2 cars, so if they get bored and whiney, we take them home early.

Oh! NewsAlert! We found Zach's phone! Alex found it on the back fender of my Durango! YAY! Except we didn't tell Zach yet. Not sure when/if we will. It could have potentially been a disaster, if I backed up over it. What a relief!

Beth: Im with ya on the crazy end of the year projects, etc. We had the food fair, Alex had a board game to make, now he has to research and make a LARGE map! Jake has a play to be in, and needs to find stuff to dress up like a President. It really makes me want to have summer vacation come quick! I'm also with you on not having any plans for the summer. I hate to sign Zach up for camp (he wants to do Counselor in Training) IF he might have to go to SUMMER SCHOOL!

Better go and putter in the kitchen..... :(
