Good morning ladies..

Sorry I was not around this weekend...No, I didn't get sick and hope that I don't. Lauren has been off and on with a fever all weekend. So, I am going to call the dr soon and get her in to see them. She may have strep throat..Not sure that is why we need the dr today..

Anyway, I rested yesterday and ate too much this weekend. Back to being good today!!! Workout later will be 4 day split kickbox....

Good morning!! Glad to hear you are not sick, Kathy -- hope it stays that way!! I love that kickbox, as you all know!!

This morning I did another bodyrock workout -- cardio intervals, set up sort of tabata style. Four minutes of five different exercises working 20s on, resting 10s. So, first was high knee jump ropes (no rope at my house!), burpees, jump lunges, one big jump forward / two jumps back, and the last was a fast feet kind of thing. It ended up taking me about 30 minutes because I had to rest between the four minutes -- it was really intense!! I had a Rolling Stones concert dvd on while I did it -- man that Mick is amazing! I went to a concert in 1994 and I just don't think that man is a druggie -- he seems far too fit. Who knows. It was fun watching while I worked out, I gotta say.

Chris, I saw your question about Squeeze Stronger and I thought about it quite a bit. I'm not sure I would recommend it for you actually -- I do not reach for it all that often -- I like the upper body work and I like the waist work, but I dread the other abs and I guess I'm not wild about the lower body! How's that for a glowing review?! I hate to say it, because I really like Tracy, but I'm not sure you would like it. Joanne, what are your thoughts, because I know you have it! ;)

Hi ladies..

Back from the dr..Lauren does not have strep. That is good. But, the bad is that now we just have to wait out the sore throat. I am going to try to get her to gargle with salt water. She is resisting that!!! Anyway, I have her doing school lessons since we are almost done with our school year. Then I gotta get them tested for year to be done...

Hi Girls!

Monday is not my usual happ(ier) place today. As I told you, Zach volunteered to make Glumpki for this Food Fair, and he's supposed to be bringing a friend over. I got up even earlier than usual to squeeze in a workout. I'm going be looking real good AND feeling real good when this kid comes over (IF he comes, who really knows).

Not sure what I'm going to do for cardio. I thought about HiiT. Could I? Should I? Is that crazy on such little sleep? Or maybe "just" a Turbo Jam? I'll have to decide when I get there, I guess.

Kathy: OH! Phsewwww! glad you're not sick! but I'm sorry Lauren is. :( I know it's almost HARDER having them NOT have strep or something they can get antibiotics for. The ickysicky feelings last longer. Sore throats are tough! I usually end up drinking fountains of hot tea.

Beth: That workout sounds cool! Like something Iwant to do NOW! Guess that won't happen.. but it sounds really fun. .. Thanks for the reviews on Squeeze. I know I rarely hear you or Joanne doing that one, so I kind of wondered. I can stick with BBL and P57 anyways. Don't really NEED anything new.

So we sit here waiting for Zach's friend to come over. *sigh* No word on when/if he's coming. My son's ignorance of what is going on around him and his lack of CARING about what is going on really REALLY has been annoying me lately.

Well, I got in a quickie, Interval & Turbo Jam combined! I did Fat Blaster! It kicked my ass for 30 minutes. Now I'm sitting around here, waiting, waiting...

Trying not to get more annoyed...
 
PLUS, he lost his backpack (for a week now, and keeps "forgetting" to look for it), lost his school papers/homework, lost his cell phone (again. and I mean REALLY lost), doesn't have his friend's phone number ... I'm so not in the mood for this crap. :mad:
 
Oh no, Chris! I hate days that go that way. I hope you figure out something and get those "Grumpies" made. ;) At least you got in a workout!!
 
Chris: Hope your day gets better and the kids comes over..Good luck finding the backpack. We are in a current search for the bag containing Chris' nintendo ds games!!!
 
Well, the kid never showed, never callled. Zach and I did the Glumpkis. Now they have to cook for 3 hours, and we have to cut them up into sample sizes. Long way to go! Really wish we could have started earlier! He still has a presentation to set up. Looks like the other kid is getting a free ride!

Oh, and I ahve to go make supper still! Ugh!
