March rotation Wed Mar 8

Hi gals. Today I did RS instead of KPC. I did add in the abs from KPC. Instead of the run tomorrow I'll do HC ex. I'm finally getting the hang of pikes on the ball. My form isn't always top notch, but it's fun!

Tk, what did you decide about your HRM? Is it a polar that you would need to send in for batteries? I'm not sure what I would do if mine died. What does polar charge for battery replacement?

Marcia, welcome to the check in. I love having people at all different stages of the rotation.

Have a great day. Phyllis

Hi, Phyllis. RS is my favorite all-step workout!

TK-I stopped wearing my HRM (a Polar) several months ago, when I was becoming TOO obsessed with the numbers. I think I'm going to start wearing it again, we'll see.

I just got done with today's workout:
S&H shoulders, triceps and biceps. All I can say is OUCH! I LOVE THIS WORKOUT! I wish I had bought this series SOONER! I really feel the work with the heavy weights in this series. WOW!

The weather here is GORGEOUS, so after I drop DS at pre-school, I'm heading out for an hour-long power walk. Can't wait!

Have an awesome Wednesday, and I'll check back later to see how everybody else is doind!

GOOD MORNING, everyone:

I did IMAX 1 last night for the first time in a long time. I am happy to report that I did it with very few modifications. I was smokin' !!!!!

I only have the shoulders SH so I'm not sure what I will substitute for the workout. It is suppose to be low 50's and party sunny today - I'm so excited. I think I will go for a run today and figure out what to substitute for the S&H series so I will incorporate that later this week instead of a run.

Gayle: I hear ya - spring is just around the corner and I LOVE IT! I'm going to go buy some tulips today, too, to put here in my office to brighten things up a bit!

Have bright and sunny day everyone!

~Marcia~ :*

Marcia,

Where you been, girl? Nice to see your post and hear how your doing!

Yesterday I did Imax 2 for the first time, and actually like it. I made it thru all the way to the end. It was tough as crap, but I did it! I also did Coremax 2 as well and 5 sets of squats with 150 for the first 3 sets and then dropped down to 100 for the last 2 sets. I feel great this morning!

Today I am doing what is scheduled as usual....S/H shoulders and Tri's/Bi's. I also have some raking to do. I got tons of gravel in my yard from the plow trucks!

Hi Phyllis, Marcia Gayle and Charlotte-

Marcia- do you have the PS series or MIS or GS series? Any of these may be substitute for S&H until you can purchase it. The substituted workouts are not slow count however. If you choose MIS I would suggest doing the prescribed body part for that day, but do it twice. (JMHO)

Charlotte- you are really woking hard!
Phyllis- good job on the pikes :7
Gayle- I hope you enjoy that beautiful day

Today was S&H legs, Core Max #1. Done. I added in All Step CTX cardio only and 200 jumping jacks. Now if my eating could be as disciplined as my workouts, it might be better for my middle.

Hey Charlotte - thanks for wondering, I'm glad I was missed. ;-)

I've been lurking once in a while, but I am so busy at work and there are so many changes going on that I was swamped. Hopefully things will slow down just a bit so I can get back to you guys.

IMAX 2 is one of my favorites, it's so fun and the music is great! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Have a super day - oh, and I hear ya about the gravel in the yard, for sure......I just wish all the snow would melt and I'd be joining you in that kind of clean up job. ;-)

Take care,
Marcia :*

Good morning everyone! :)

I am joining for the March rotation check-in if you all don't mind.

I had the 45 min steady run on my schedule for this morning. I had only time for 40 min, but it felt good although my toes start acting up in between, but it went away.

Hope everybody has a great day
Kristine
;-)

WELCOME Kristine:

I just joined up yesterday, too. Great job on your run. I'm going to get out and run after work today, too, can't wait spring is finally starting to show up around here.

Take care all,
~Marcia~

Good job everybody!

I am back and just wanted to "log" my run. I planned a walk in the sunshine, but my legs felt good, SO I RAN! 1 hour total, including warm up and cool down. I estimate a 5 or 6 mile loop. I'll track it with my car, just to see!

WTG, Gayle - you are such an inspiration!!!!!!!!!! I wish this darn fog would lift so the sun could be seen. I might get lost in the fog this afternoon on my run.

~Marcia~

Nivce going on the run Gayle!
Welcome Kristine!
Marcia- enjoy that run and hopefully the fog will burn off!

I just wanted to add that I will be off line until Monday. My first week is complete. I will do cardio and stretching as much as I can being away the next 4 days and start week 2 with y'all on Monday.

Judy - See ya Monday, then. Enjoy yourself (I forgot where you said you were going....my mind somedays isn't all the good! LOL).

Great job on week #1 DONE!

Hi girls. I've decided to try to replace the battery on my HRM myself. I took it apart last night and will be going to the camera store to look for the battery. If replacing the wrist unit battery doesn't work then it could be that the chest strap/transmitter battery is dead too. Those batteries can't be replaced. Chest straps are pricy (IMO) as I've seen prices of about $50 for the chest transmitter alone. I might be better off getting a totally new HRM. BTW, what I have is a Polar A5.

Today I did KPC because tomorrow night I have a Kickbox class. Didn't want to do kickbox twice in one day! I'll do my S+H tomorrow morning instead. Since KPC doesn't have enough intensity for me I did the Cardio Conditioning premix (around 30 min), then did Kickmax Blast Challenge (around 20 min), skipped back to KPC disc and completed the abs section. It came out to just around one hour. I wish I could report on the calories burned but you know the story about my HRM! Gayle, you are right about obsessing over the numbers.

Gayle, great run! I can't wait for the weather to turn warmer here because I'm itching to start running again (I can't believe I said that!). I can run in hottest most humid weather no problem but when it gets cold I'm a weenie.

Everyone have a good day.

TK, what type of HRM do you have? I replaced the batteries in my M32 chest strap myself. Phyllis

HI ladies,

everyone is doing so great!
today i did slow and heavy bi's and tri's. i decided to add shoulders onto thursday. i didn't have 80 minutes to lift today.

Phyllis: It's a Polar A5 and you can't replace the batteries in the chest strap with this model. The battery is built in.
