lunge question

Cathe (and all!),

When I do a lunge, I feel the burn in both legs. For example, let's say the front leg is my right leg and my left is back. I will feel a burn in the right quad but also in the left quad. Should I feel that left quad? And should it be more or less of a burn than the right?

Does this mean that my form is off or does it mean I am right on target?

Thanks,
Christine

Christine-
Me too! I assume that this is the way it should be because Cathe always says that you are working both legs during lunges. I used to think there was something wrong with my form because I have to rest for at least a minute between working each leg. But I've seen good results, so I've grown confident that I'm on the right track.

I'll just never understand how Cathe goes directly from doing lunges with the right leg back to doing them with the left leg back without a break. If I did that, one leg would be much stronger than the other. I guess everyone's legs fatigue a bit differently....
