There's a woman in my office who definitely sees the worst of any situation. Someone told her they were going to a wedding and this woman replied, "They'll probably get a divorce," even though she didn't know the couple at all--and, even if she did, when would that be an appropriate comment? She wants to go to lunch with me before I go to my new job, but, when I mentioned a restaurant, she told me she didn't like the name. Zed Cafe?

Anyhoo, it made me think of this Saturday Night Live skit. I think it's hilarious, and, no matter how many times I watch it, I still crack up. Hopefully, it'll give you guys a chuckle! Enjoy!

LOL! I used to have a supervisor like that. Tell him about a restaurant and he'd come up with some Mad Cow/e-coli/flesh eating bacteria rant...and don't ever get him started on the weather...:D
 
Teresa, After watching that skit, I don't know how you could not bust out laughing the next time the chic at your office comes out with one of her special lines!! :) Thanks for sharing - it was hilarious to just watch the actors trying not to fall out of their chairs laughing :7
 
Oh, believe me, I'm going to have tell her I just had some type of head trauma to explain why I fall out into hysterical laughter when she says things like, "What kind of music are they playing in here? It's awful." Well, it was Indian music, because it was an Indian restaurant. True story. Now you know why I'm trying to think of reasons not to go out to lunch with her.
