Low Max in the heat

I didn't think it was physically possible to sweat that much!! Did the FitTV version of Low Max and was actually drenched, head to toe. Had the AC and a fan on, but it's 88 degrees at nearly 9 p.m. and there's only so much that one small air conditioner can do. I think it would kill me if I tried to do the actual entire DVD workout! How does anyone survive this thing, even in cooler temps? x( }(

I LOVE LowMax. I did it this morning. I work out in my basement and it is fairly cool down there (especially at 7:15 am, but by the end of this workout I am drenched and dripping with sweat. I LOVE this workout!

Hubby and I both have done Low Max and we were both drinched like someone threw us in a pool and it wasn't very hot then. LOL!

Charlotte~~

Me too!! Everytime I do this workout I the sweat pours out of me even after I'm done for a while. Love it love it!:p

I just finished this workout. I have central air. I'm drenched. You start off thinking "oh this isn't so bad". Then you get to those dynamic outer thighs and the sculpt 15's and your legs are screaming and you're dripping. And then Cathe says something about some blasts being easier than others and to enjoy them when they're offered and I laugh and laugh. Well, not really, cuz I can't breathe.:p

Charlotte, How very COOL (no pun intended) that your hubby does low max with you! That is time well spent together IMO. :)

LOL-- I just got this workout today, and I've done it twice, once without the blasts (love the music:) Both times, I was wringing by the time I was finished. Maybe I'll save this one for winter. . .

I did KM combos only + LM blasts yesterday afternoon. It was about 90 degrees outside, and 78 degrees indoors. Not that bad, really, but I could wring sweat out of my clothes when I was done. I don't remember how many bottles of water I had after that, but it was a LOT.:)

I did Low Max this morning but I lowered the central a/c before I started. I used a lower step also. My heart rate was still as high as when I do IMAX! I made sure I really got down low like Cathe says.

Last week our air was not working, it was near 90 degrees out and I did Low Max with only a box fan blowing on me. I don't think I have ever had so much sweat come out of my body! -I still had fun doing it even though I thought I was going to die!

Shelley,
I'm right there with you, I don't exactly dread that blast, but it sure isn't easy! Grumble, grumble...
I sometimes think similar thoughts during interval 1 in IMAX2 when Cathe says to use this interval as an extended warmup, unless you're coming off another workout. Who does another workout BEFORE doing IMAX2?
Sheesh:eek:
Oh, an nothing makes me sweat like Lomax
