I have not wanted to Work! Work! for a few weeks now...I just have rather been doing laundry than working out. Is anyone going through this right now? I feel like it might be the change of seasons or something!??! Help me get back on track!
 
Maybe take a week off or do something different and then ease back into working out. Make sure you are eating enough and sleeping enough!!
 
There seem to have been several posts like this one lately. I've not had any problem wanting to Work, Work, but my eating has gone to you-know-where in a hand basket. We need a good dose of inspiration. Anyone out there got some extra inspiration/incentive/willpower they can roll into a pill and ship out?
 
Motivational Pill

One of the motivational pills that I use when I lack motivation to workout is- The -I love to eat pill and the I love to look good in my clothes pill!

Yep, I'm feeling like this too. For the first time EVER I can't think of a workout that I actually want to do. I just want to sleep...and eat. :eek: But I have this overwhelming feeling of guilt too. I didn't work out yesterday and I seriously doubt I'm going to w/o tonight. :(

I'm so stressed out with school and money and other things and I just don't know how to a.) find the energy to workout, and b.) find the time to workout.

I'm so unbelievably miserable right now.
 
Aw! You all seem so saaaaaaaaaaad! I must admit I've been struggling myself lately, but I think it's b/c of the shorter days. I have a tough time getting up when it's still dark, at least until my internal clock adjusts.

Maybe when you pack up your summer clothes, leave out one of your bikinis in plain view of wherever you tend to be right before a workout. Better yet, leave out two--there should be one taped to the fridge door. That should be motivating!
 
I've been feeling this way too lately..ugh. I even bought pyramid upper and lower body and planned to do upper body tonight. You'd think I'd be excited about it since its new...but nope...I'd rather go to sleep. I really have to push push lately before I work work :(
 
Oh man, there is a lot of this going around!:( I think Laura is right about the shorter days and the body clock thing. This is not a happy time for me. I loathe the cold and I already feel like I won't be comfortable again until Aprilish.

Anyway, I think we need something new to do. I did start that pushup challenge thing and I'm seeing some good chest/shoulder definition from it.
So, that's my idea.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.

I haven't worked out, except for two yoga vids last week, since Labor Day weekend. I had two deaths in my family, then couldn't work out for two weeks because of a surgical procedure, then once cleared from that had a stomach bug, and now, I just can't get myself motivated to get going again!

I'm feeling very blah, and know it's time to get moving again, but am really struggling!!!
