I've had this one for awhile but for some reason it won't play on my DVD player so I've never done it. I think I'll try it on my laptop tomorrow. You inspired me!!

Hi, Pam! I'm a little strange (well, for a number of reasons, but also . . .) for the fact that I don't really do DM as produced nor do I do any of its premixes. However, I heavily utilize the drills, especially the six main cardio drills, with my DVD recorder and record custom mixes of my own with other Cathe workout footage to get whatever training effect I'm shooting for. I'd estimate that the Drill Max cardio intervals, as well as those wonderful dive-bomber push-ups and core push-ups, squirt into a land workout at least once every one to two weeks. I especially love drill #3, except that I substitute a 7.5-lb rubberized weight plate for the stability ball, and I totally love drill #5. I'll never forget previewing that particular drill and thinking "Hmmmmmmmmmmmm . . . that's a little light in the step!" and then doing it for the first time and being in gasp-mode after the second go-round . . . THEN she did the whole thing one more time! And I live for her saying halfway thru that interval, "Are you really doing this at home? Or are you just watching us swing around here?!"

Yeah, give yourself until Monday to try it again. But always remember the more you do it the better at it you'll get, and that will have positive benefits to your other power-based workouts.

Thanks so much!! How cool to have a DVR that records. What a blast that would be. I'm going to need to replace mine pretty soon so I will check into that and create my own Cathe concoctions!

It came yesterday! I was watching it all the way through (something I usually do anyway with a new workout dvd) and my husband came in and began to make fun of me being Cathe obsessed. Well, after a few minutes of watching he was impressed both by her physique and the routine :rolleyes:
I am really looking forward to it!
 
Just got mine today, plus my fancy new firewalker bands, and did it tonight, and man... I'm a SWEATY MESS!!! Love it!!! Wow, what a great workout! I hope this blasts me through this plateau!! I couldn't do the dive-bomb pushups. Those are inhuman. Nor could I do the knee-lift pushups. Wow. But it's something to work toward!! Yay!! :p
 
I am so jealous!! (in a good way of course ;) ) Mine won't arrive til Wednesday...let the wating game begin...
 
I'm supposed to be doing Premix #1 tonight. Can anyone tell me what that consists of? I have the download and no premixes, so I'll have to fast forward to each segment I need!

Premix 2 - OMG!

I did Premix 2 - Drill Max Cardio Blast today as part of a Leg Blast Rotation. This has to be one of the most insane workouts I have done. It consists of the 6 blasts, each repeated, one after another. Do drill 1, repeat, drill 2, repeat...Unlike the Interval Max workouts, there is no nice little recovery between the drills. The drills just keep coming!

Premix 1 is the Timesaver Cardio Blast - you only have to do each of the drills once! :D

Seriously, this premix makes the HIIT workouts look like nothing! I was huffing/puffing and paused for water, but I did it!
