Looking for legitimate work at home business

Hi,

I've been trying to find a work at home business but am having a hard time finding anything legitimate. I just recently ended up getting myself into a work at home scam and had numerous unknown charges on my charge card and had to close out the card and dispute the charges. Has anyone found anything that actually works and is legitimate? I don't believe in the ones that say you can make a bunch of money in a short period of time. Like they always say if it sounds to good to be true, it usually isn't. I thought it might be worth putting out here to see if anyone knows of anything.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brenda

I think most home based businesses that make any money are those that rely on a specific skill such as transcriptionist, web design, graphic artist etc, ... and even with those you have to go out and sell yourself.

There are the others, Arbonne, Avon, Pampered Chef etc... you probably aren't going to make a livable wage but it could be extra income and something fun to do.

There are also those that do bring in a decent income but require a lot of labor, day-care, house cleaning, seamstress, painter etc... our neighbor just paid a man $1800 to pressure wash his driveway. It took the man 2 days intensive labor and he probably paid $800 for the washer.

So ask yourself what you 'enjoy' doing and how can you turn that into something that would make money? Regardless of the economy there is always someone who is willing to pay for a service. You just need to know what service you are willing to do.

I know one guy who writes out work-out routines and charges $10. per workout. He has grown his business by word of mouth. It has also led to some personal training sessions where he charges more. Just use your imagination and a note book.
