I have one that is really puny, it is only 25 inches long and 6 inches high, it sucks, I like the gym version but they are a little to expensive for me to buy, so I went to ebay, and there the gym version are kind of pricy too, they start at 1.99 cents and end up at 79.00 with shipping and handling, I see no point, so I dared to go to the gym across my street, LUCILLE ROBERTS, I was trying my best shot and asked if they had an old step that I can buy from the they said: no they didnt that the old ones were throw in the garbich a week ago????!!!!!! I was like WHAT????? oh geez so I am having a hard time getting a gym version step, any ideas? thanks
Norma
The older I get the more I love me.

Norma,

Since you're in New York City, you may want to try this site:

http://newyork.craigslist.org/

Look under the "Free" and "Sporting" categories in the middle of the page. Lots of times, you can find people just giving them away. You can even post under the Sporting section to say you are looking for a club step.

You may also want to look in the Yellow Pages for used sports equipment places like Play It Again Sports.

Hi, I just want to tell you, that if they have a Tuesday Morning store in your area they have a gym quality step that inclines, declines for $29.99. I got mine from a Reebok outlet store also for $29.99 the one at Tuesday Morning it is better, but I had already purchased the other. I hope this helps.

Walmart has them as cheap as I've seen them. If you do decide t give in & buy a new one, check them out. I wouldn't go with Ebay either. The price of S&H drives up the price too much.

You might also want to check out your local second hand stores, Goodwill, Salvation Army, yard sales, etc. I snagged mine at the local Salvation Army (brand new!) for $2.50, it was half price day!

Good luck,
Mattea
