For my anniversary from my amazing DH with a mushy sentiment about time through the years. I absolutely love clocks and he mounted it on our deck outside. What a neat DH I am lucky enough to have - he even puts up with my Cathe fanaticism.

That is very cool! My mom bought me a grandfather clock for Xmas years ago, it is without a doubt the most beautiful piece of furniture I have. It's like the centerpiece of my LR.

I gather you guys spend a lot of time on your deck if you need to know what time it is out there........:+

Beautiful Lorrie! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Did DH by chance get it at The Hartville Kitchen where we ate lunch? They sell Howard Miller clocks. Enjoy your special gift. What a sweetie he is!

That is gorgeous! We live in a town that was founded by a clockmaker. Our house was actually owned by Seth Thomas (if you're into antique clocks, you've probably heard of him). We've started collecting clocks primarily because it fits so well with the town and house.

Enjoy your clock!

Ooooooooooh Gym Mom - how awesome for you!! I think clocks create such an aura in almost any setting - love them! Collecting them makes it so easy for folks to know what to buy you. Mama Deb- no he actually got it from Ebay of all places, where he was the only bidder - so he got a great deal! And LauraMax, not so much a lot of time on the deck (tho we do that too) but a lot of time in the back yard where we have a pond on close to 2 acres. Between fishing, swimming, playing with the kids, and cutting grass, we're always looking at the time somewhere. Curiously, I have a clock in my garage, and one in the storage shed down by the pond, in addition to the inside ones. And they all get used! I amazed at people who comment on the one in the garage especially - they love that idea.

I would be in heaven if you posted pics of your house. I love antiques and historic homes. It's really my passion--if only I could afford it--lol!

Robin!

Robin! LOL! I thought the EXACT same thing when I saw the subject title. Ha!
