Okay, I got home from work this afternoon and on the way home I was thinking of all of the things I could do with a beautiful Saturday. Well my daughter was watching Live8 and I started watching as well. What an amazing effort and to think of how many people are experiencing this at the same time gives me chills. We've seen Paul McCartney, Cold Play, Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5, Tragically Hip, Barenaked Ladies and George Michael and my all time favourite Pete Townsend to name a few......I can't wait to see Neil Young performing, he's simply amazing!!! The power and emotion of music is truly awesome and Bob Geldof a true hero.

I remember so vividly a day just like this 20 years ago riveted by Live Aid watching Annie Lennox, Freddie Mercury and Elton John in London AND Philidelphia Live Aid.
