For the love of God,woman, did you do Cardio kicks??? Ive been dying to know!!!! Dont keep me hangin here

Oh yeah, I forgot to post! I did do it last Friday...it was really tough. I liked it, it's a fun workout, but I like the moves in Kickbox better. I'd like to see a workout like that one go a little longer. What I did today was Kickbox and then the cardio from Step and Intervals (both from Crosstrain.) Now that was killer, too, but I've been trying to do about 45 minutes to an hour of cardio about 5x per week.

I'll work Cardio Kicks into my rotation now, I'm sure. I definitely liked it, but I like the more straightforward approach of Kickbox. CK seemed like it combined hi/lo with kickboxing, which is fun sometimes. Takes a LOT of energy though, whew!

But thanks for asking and reminding me that I never did tell everyone what I thought of it. Tomorrow, I do Circuit Max, then head off to a hockey game (my favorite outing in the world.) I should be a total limp nooodle by the time we get to the Staples Center. Good thing they have escalators!

Hi Lex!

I also like the CTX kickboxing better than Cardiokicks. I've been adding on the drills from Cardio Kicks on to the CTX kickboxing video for a longer kickboxing workout. Some of the drills repeat themselves that way, but I enjoy it. Just another idea!

Awesome...another hockey fan!! I love it! Goin' to a Black Hawks game this Friday. How are the rotations going? I posted some of my rotations to you last month, but now I've rethought them and have totally different ones planned for the months ahead. This month was a sort of "welcome back to the workout world" rotation, nothing too strenuous. Next month it'll be CTX.
Anyway, have fun with your next workout!

Stacy

P.S. What hockey team do you like?? I think I remember you saying you were from California..maybe not, so a Kings or Mighty Ducks fan??

Oh my gosh, a fellow puckhead! How awesome! So far only my honey is a fan, none of my friends are, and even he isn't as into as I am.

I am from Chicago, and if we ever got games on cable out here from that division I'd watch the Hawks all the time. I never went to a single game when I lived there, I only discovered the awesome sport last year. But I've more than made up for it, I'm totally hooked.

I do love the Kings, hate the Ducks (crosstown rivals, like being a Cubby fan over the Sox, since I grew up in Lakeview) and am actually a huge Dallas Stars fan. That's because of Ed Belfour. He's my favorite player in the world, bizarre behavior notwithstanding. He's brilliant and he's competitive and Chicago was stupid to trade him. But it worked out great for him, the Hawks don't look to be Cup bound before he retires. I'm a big goalie nut, I'm fascinated by that position. I'd like to learn to skate just to I can take some hockey clinics and maybe play in a casual league or something.

Where in Chicago do you live? I was just back there in October for a funeral, I wish it had been a pleasure visit. But LA is home now. It will be 2 years this March since we moved. Obviously, the weather rocks.

So, you'll be watching the Hawks on Friday! How cool. Where do you sit? We got tix for several Kings games in the nosebleeds, but they are still good seats, mid ice. And about 5 or 6 times per season we get his boss' luxury skybox because he isn't into hockey. Now THAT'S a way to watch a game. Very swanky.

Jeez, sorry I'v rambled so much. Obviously I am desperate for someone to talk hockey with. You're probably thinking "Good God woman, take a chill pill!" I shall.

Feel free to email if you'd like to get more pen-pally. I should be going home to visit this summer or spring and maybe we could even grab a really fattening burger or pizza! Man, I miss Chicago pizza.

Ciao for now!

Hawks need ...

something. I'd rather show you to the pizza than the hawks now.
I can;t understand that the biggest sports town in the country has such little championship offerings---the Sox were the only thing going last year and nobody went. (we did, once.) the Bulls are a disgrace.
