Good Morning Gals

Today was S&H tri and bi and abs. Wow what a workout!
Stats:
Tricep:
overhead extension: 1 set 25#, 2 sets 26.25# (used platemates)
lying extensions: 1 set 10#, 2 sets 12#
kickbacks: 1 set 10#, dropped to 8# for the second set and then did 10# for 4 reps, 8# for 4reps for the last set. I really needed 9# would have been perfect.
dips: first set with 35#bb, 2nd set with 40# bb
biceps:
db curls: 1 set 15#, 2 sets 17.5#
hammer curls: 1 set 15#, then upped to 16.25#, third set 17.5# (next time will start with 17.5#)
bb curl: 3 sets 30#
bb wrist curl: 25# (same as cathe)
reverse wrist curl: 5# (same as cathe)

Gin~ How was BC? did you do coremax? which one? I am thinking I will do tough abs premix from coremax tomorrow, but if I wake up late I will just do KB abs from 4DS. Did you talk to the K teacher? what's going on?

Marcy~ Did you do yoga today? Hope it was good! Are you adding chins/pullups to your yoga or cardio days?

Forgot to post my meals:)
last night I also had 1 cup of cinnamon Puffins for snack/desert after dinner.

before workout: 2 egg whites of hard boiled eggs
bfast: protein pancakes and orange
snack: 1/2 protein bar
lunch: veg. prepackaged with lite dressing (won't have all the dressing) and breakstone cottage cheese doubles and challah roll!x(
snack: ??WW milkshake or hummus and 2 pita??
dinner: scallops and a little pasta and spinach salad (Marcy- I think I will be making your recipe)
snack: Mahjong tonight, so I may have pretzels or fruit

I like writting this down, because its been making me stick to it. How about you guys?

Good Morning Ladies!

This morning I did Mark Blanchard's Flow and Lisa Nunziella's Red Hot Salsa 2. Flow was a little shorter than the others this week (59 mins.) I felt good with yoga today. My leg balances, shoulder stand and crane (crow) were really good. It was the first time for Red Hot Salsa 2. Lots of fun. I'm thinking I should be upping my cardio (now that I'm a year older). I know that's now what I've said in the past but my body fat percentage has been really high lately. This morning it started out at 29.1% and when I finished it was 27.1%. It usually goes down 5 points when I weight myself around 7:00. What you do guys think?

I probably won't be posting again today. I have to go with my father for a test. He needs to have his aortic valve replaced. There are two procedures - one's invasive and one isn't. I'm hoping for the latter because the first one they have to open up his chest and he has a host of problems including diabetes and he had a staph infection when he was hospitalized years ago.

Deanie - Great workout, especially the biceps. Hope you like dinner tonight. I have to start making hardboiled eggs again to bring with me but I never seem to find the time. I think it's good we're posting meals. Last night I did pretty good - I finished up my asparagus from the night before and mixed it with the tiny bit of leftovers of the scallop dinner. Also had the sandwich I mentioned yesterday. I did cheat though in the afternoon. I went into the breakroom to get a yogurt and there were 2 slices of cake sitting there from someone's party. One of them called my name. I still ate the yogurt too.

Gin - Hope you had a good workout today. Did you get in touch with the K teacher?

Meals:
Breakfast - Vive Cereal
Snack - Fiber One Bar
Lunch - WW bread, peppermill turkey, tomato, spinach, muenster cheese with honey mustard dressing
Snack - ?
Dinner - Maybe an omelet

Marcy~ I know you won't be posting, but I hope you see this. I hope all goes well with your dad! Please keep up posted. Way to go with the chinups! If your body fat is really high, maybe you should add cardio and see what happens. It can't hurt...
