Good Morning All!!

PCC done. This has been my second time doing PCC and it was a bit easier. It's amazing how much my cardio capacity has improved in just one week. Insanity has made me feel like I've been going in slow motion with my other workouts (maybe I have :p). I can also see how much better my form is getting along with keeping my core tight - similar to kickboxing.

Iseefitpeople - Impressive that your 5yo made it through PC!! My 4yo DD likes to critique me and will occasionally join in. I think it is important for children to see their parents workout - it is such a great habit to get into.

I'm off to shower and enjoy the weekend!! :)

not sure yet if i'm working out today. if i do it will be some cardio and mabe the recovery workout. hope everyone has a nice weekend

Hello.
Jennifer- I agree with you on the cardio capacity improvement, I have also noticed a difference this week. I usually did 2 HIIT type workouts(the "bursts" were about 40 seconds and recovery about 90 seconds) and one cardio circuit (which never really made me suck air) each week. I am responding to this style of training.
Today is beginning of week 2 and the workout is CPR. I did much better this time around. I only had to take a break during the second set of moving pushups. I also started using dumbells for the plamk sprints (my wrists were the only thing hurting when I did this workout last week) and it made a huge difference. I will start incorporating the dumbbells anytime therre are level 1 or 2 drills also, as my wrists ar the only body part that needs a break during those exercises. I also added medicine ball abs from STS at the end and now i feel ready to tackle a busy Saturday.
Tomorrow is Pure Cardio.... I am psyched about this one as it is my favorite workout in this cycle. Have a wonderful day !!

no workout today:) needed a rest day (and mabe even a rest weekend) felt good to rest my muscles and not go insane today both mentally and physically

for only 15 minutes of actual work, that was one tough workout. I skipped cardio recovery since I am doing STS, I will have days off from cardio anyway. Tomorrow I am doing M3-chest and back.

Have a great night everyone.
