Good Mornining All!!

CPR was rough this morning. I really welcomed the stretch after the warm-up:D That is why it is tough for me to take a day off - the next day is that much harder. Although when Shaun does his scream in this workout it makes me think "I don't care what game he is playing, but I want to be on HIS team :p". I'm really enjoying his personality ;)

Brenda - wtg on PC!!

Dawn - Welcome back and good for you to get right back into the workouts. I could not imagine trying to do PCC outside - I need my a/c:p

Happy Monday, hopefully I can get chance to check back in later.

Happy Monday (or not :p)
I'm with Fun (you don't mind if I call you that do you? :D), CPR was draining, but not as bad as I thought it would be after doing Plyo last night. I was super slow during the squat push-up phase. I went through the sequence 2-1/2 times instead of the 4 or 5 times he does.

Anyone have a plan for recovery week yet? I guess I haven't been looking ahead, because I figure I need to get through the 1st 4 weeks before R week. He has us doing the same workout all week. I haven't looked at it yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll be doing good to get in 3 of them. I think I see some MM & C&W in my future... but I'll have to look at the workout to see for sure.

I'm really liking the diet plan. I didn't really follow it this weekend, but it's a pretty well rounded diet. I like balancing my calories more evenly through 5 meals, instead of the 3 meals, 2 snacks strategy I had been using.

I'll BBL, gotta go hit the shower.

Hi Everyone:
Well I'm on vacation this week in sunny Hilton Head and decided not to bring the DVDs with me. I figured since I'm only here once a year I should rollerblade, play tennis and do all the things I don't get to do that much at home. So no Insanity for me. But I think when I get home I'm going to do Insantily 3xper week and start Meso 1 for the other 3x a week. I really miss the weights.
Have a great week everyone and keep up the good work.
Elena

Hi Everyone - can I join your check in? My name is Colleen and I just started my insanity rotation this morning with my fit test. I forget the results but I can post them when I get home. I was surprised at how well I did and how hard it was.

Dawn, I was going to do low impact workouts with a couple of days of the recovery workouts during the recovery week.
Elena, enjoy your vacation.
Jennifer, I always come back from my rest day refreshed.

Elena,
Have a great week. I envy you.

Welcome Colleen,
The more the merrier.

You guys are tempting me to reduce my Insanity days.. I fear boredom will start to set-in soon.

I really want to push through the rotation as long as I can stand it. I've been focusing on strength so much with STS and I really NEED to focus on cardio for a bit. After this, I hope to be fully ready for a full STS strength and cardio rotation bring my focus back to both at once. :D

Welcome Colleen, please come and be insane with us!

So i had a binge today due to stress (board exams are wednesday) but i'm happy to report i'm back on the wagon. One thing i try to do is get back on the wagon as soon as i have fallen off. I posted what i ate in my binge on the open discussion forum. So today i did the first half of M1W1 CSB which came out to about 12 exercises (30 minutes) i then did a 35 minute jog on the treadmill. Tomorrow will be more insanity CPR and abs and mabe some more cardio. Keep up the good work ladies.

Dawn - Yes, you can call me anything with the exception of a few names, but Fun is not one of them :D I will probably add some yoga and maybe some upper body work to the recovery week. I have not previewed that disc, but I better get on it.

Trixie - Welcome!! Consider yourself committed  :p

Elena - Happy vacation! I wouldn't bring workout dvds if I was going to Hilton Head either, have fun :p

Kariev - {{{HUGS}}} Hang in there, girl, you will do great on your exam.

** I will definitely need to add some upper body work to this rotation. In today's CPR workout, I was so wiped out by the end with the moving push-ups that I was only eeking out a few push-ups at a time. I think it might be more beneficial for me to get in an upper body workout while I'm rested. I'm thinking the upper body P90X+ workout or Shaun's deluxe upper body workout, which I still have not done. I do like the flexibility of the Insanity program. I've read other posters' suggested schedules and they all look good - the possibilities are endless :p

Hello everyone: Welcome Colleen!!!
late check in today, I had to work overtime and barely had enough time to get Plyo Cardio Circuit in before showering and heading off to the studio to teach a Pilates class.
i am on Day 10 and tomorrow is cardio recovery workout, I think I will do 4DS biceps/triceps after that DVD. Gotta find a day to get chest and back in, probably will do that on the "off" day, which for me is friday and I teach a step and sculpt class so I will probably just stay at the gym and do a heavy back and chest workout. I know I have said this before, but STS has spoiled me and I love heavy workouts!!

I will say this, these workouts are getting easier to get through without having to take more than 5second breaks here and there. I used 10lb dumbbells for my handstands during the level 1 drills section and that helped my staying power tremendously. if any of you have wrist issues during this section of the workout, I highly recommend using something to keep the wrists straight.

Have a good evening and enjoy your insanities!!
