Let's Do This Again STSept-Dec! *Dec 7-Dec 13*

Heather shoveling has never bothered my arms, it's my lower back that doesn't like it much. Didn't seem to bother it yesterday though. Luckily, yesterdays total prediction of 2-6" ended up hardly 1" so I didn't have to shovel anymore. Glad you are feeling better.

I did Disk 33 Shoulders, Biceps and Triceps this morning and I was only higher on one thing that last time round and that was the barbell curls. I've started a list of 1RM's I want to redo before January as I feel there are a few things that I could still go up a little bit on. I also need to make sure that I have the 1RM's in for the squat rack legs. I'm toying with adding in another leg day and doing floor/standing work with ankle weights only for 20 minutes or so. Seeing that most of the cardios are shorter than usual, I should have time to throw in another leg day and more stretching.

Ok Warrior Gals, in the Workout Manager/Rotations I have put in two different ones. Right now they are both showing up when you open up rotations, but if many more get added they will be pushed off the page and you'll have to search for them.

1) Warriors Undulating Rotation (this one is upper body, upper body, legs w/squat rack)

2) Warriors STS Rotation 2 (this one is upper body, legs - plyo legs, upper body)

Remember that weeks 7 and 14 are rest weeks, so they won't have anything entered. Let me know if you find any problems.

Happy Friday Morning!

I decided to take a rest day today. Tomorrow I'll be back at it with squat rack legs.

Cathy - thanks, once again, for assembling the rotations! The ballet dvd is a nice change, why they called it Bootcamp, I don't know, it certainly isn't a bootcamp Cathe or Insanity style! Maybe because the different segments are chaptered? Maybe because bootcamp was a catchy term at the time which inspired people to just dive right in - ? I dunno. :D

I have been reading a book I thought you might find interesting, maybe you can request it from the library, it's called "8 Steps to a Pain Free Back." by Ester Gokale, here is her website: http://egwellness.com/ and a youtube presentation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yYJ4hEYudE&feature=user

While I don't have back pain, I do have hip/thigh pain, and I am always interested in proper posture - so I found this very interesting and affirming.

Heather - I am impressed that you got up and did your Shoulder's biceps triceps workout. I bet your presentation went very well! Warriors are strong and smart!

MJ - you're almost done! Vacation is coming! Keep it up!

Tara - how is meso 2 treating you?

I'm going to bake today. :)

Hi Fellow Warriors!

This was my week to be in the "work desert"! I have not been able to work out since Monday :( So, I will be having a STS weekend (Whoo Hoo!). But with that I have to get all the Christmas packages/cards in the mail & have my office's Christmas party this weekend. It will probably end up being "early weekend morning STS"! :)

I'm catching up on all the posts. I may not be able to check-in until Monday, but I'll give a full report on how the weekend STS goes!

Have a great weekend!

Tara

Hey Weekend Warriors (which we aren't, we're everyday Warriors, but the W sound worked!)

I just finished squat rack legs. For some reason it felt easy. When I was done my back and hamstrings felt fantastic! Imagine that - I must haven't gotten a much needed stretch in the process.

Can you believe we are almost done! I have one plyo and one squat rack leg left. When the music started this morning I felt a rush of good - happy - positive feelings and said to myself, I love STS.

(p90x is a nice change, but Tony's not Cathe, and his program is not STS.)

I am looking forward to the undulating rotation! Aren't you guys? It will be interesting to see how we feel from week to week. I am ready to shake things up.

I never made gingerbread this week, and I didn't run today. Both can wait until tomorrow.

Tara - it's great to hear from you, so sorry you are stuck in the desert of work, there is an oasis in sight! After next week you get time off, right?

How about you MJ, did you survive?

Cathy - I think I'll download upper plyo upper. I love how you titled the rotations!

Heather - did you kick your cold to the curb? How is your toothless boy?

It is raining cats, dogs, bunnies, and foxes here! Last week it was freezing cold! I am glad the two weather patterns didn't coincide. No shovelmax for me thankfully.

Have a restful weekend everyone!
:D

Janis I can't believe I've only got one more week of STS left. It has totally flown by this time. The 6 1/2 month one was really dragging by the end and this one just zipped.

I'm also really looking forward to the undulating rotation. I think it'll be fun to bounce around the different lifting styles. And, I really, really hope the cardios get here in time. They are saying they may have them by the 17th and I ordered early (I figured why wait, when I knew I was going to do it anyway) and it usually only takes them two days to get to me. I'm also going to try really hard to clean my diet back up. I've been slacking in that area. Not enough to really gain, but enough that I can't lose that extra bit hanging around. So, come January I'm planning to hit hard with STS, Shock Cardio and my eating. By the time it warms up, I'll be ready for shorts and tanks - though my arms are always ready for tanks - it's my thighs/butt that aren't so cooperative.

Tara I hope things lighten up for you soon.

Hello Weekend Warriors!

I am here and still alive. I am a disc or two behind but will finish next Saturday with everyone else. woohoo! Off to play some tennis this morning.

Will catch up later on the posts I missed.

Have a great Sunday. :)

This morning I got up late (cat in/out shuffling during the night) and my darn calf is still bugging me, so I did IMAX 3 step only and Muscle Max abs.

I really don't know what to do about my calf as working out is not the only thing bothering it. My shopping on Saturday and all that walking bothers it too. It's the lower end of the calf that's the problem. The upper and middle seem to be just fine.

Have to get my workout cards printed out today - LAST WEEK!!
