I know there has been a lot of talk on here about what everyone is using for their aerobics flooring. Well, I have come across a great idea that works great too.
I work out in my kitchen on a hard tile floor. It was killing my feet. So I went to Garden Ridge (a home decor, arts and craft store) and got some large interlocking foam tiles. I bought a total of 12 tiles for $40, in black. I put the tiles down on my kitchen floor and guess what they did? They slipped and slid all around. So I got one of those rug pad/cushion non-slip things that keeps rugs from slipping. I put that under my foam tiles and OH WOW! It works so great and no movement. I got the 5 foot by 8 foot size. And when I am done working out, I can easily unattach the tiles in rows and put them away, then pick up the rug pad and put it away too. I love it, it works great, and my feet love me now too! I am so excited.
