Legs & Glutes and Bootcamp together...Ouchie!

So when the weekends come and I have more time to workout I love the "idea" of doing 2 workouts back to back. I tried to follow Legs & Glutes with Bootcamp this morning and my poor legs refused to go beyond cycle #3! But next weekend I'll try to make it through cycle #5, baby steps!

My question is are there any workouts you all like doing back to back?

Happy Sunday!

Madness I say, pure madness. Your poor legs LOL!! You go girl!! I used to do a few back to back. Usually though I'd follow a strength w/o with a cardio. Have not done that in a long time.

Like?...NO.

I have done KPC and MM back to back - once. I have done SJP and then PP - once. I have done PUB, Pilates, and Power Yoga back-to-back - once.

I have done several combos back-to-back, but few and far between. Once I do them again, I remember why I don't do them that way regularly.:7

I know that on those special double workout days I always do a cardio (interval, etc...) prior to a full lower body workout.

Try doing Bootcamp first, then Legs and Glutes. I bet you'll have more stamina with that order.

I wish I would have done my Bootcamp Cadio only Premix 1st with my Dolores Munoz I did Killer Butt first then Bootcamp Cardio I could not get past #7. But I feel good.

Next time I would do BootCamp first, then L&G. I have been on a BootCamp kick lately and did it 3 times this week. I love those squat-thrust-climbers at the end and pause the dvd there and do those until my legs are fried.

Or, if you want to keep with doing L&G first, then take a rest period between so your legs can recover. Drink some water and load the dishwasher then go do BootCamp. :D

Thanks for the tips ladies - I'll reverse them next time and try that!

I love to hate those leg thrust climbers! I hate doing them (especially adding that jump after each one) but feel so great when they're over.

I enjoy doing long runs (like 8-10 miles) and then GS Legs. That one is a killer.
I also like doing a full UB workout and then doing KM or any kick boxing workout.it really frys the UB!
