Leaner Legs and back workouts

Since the Leaner Legs workout has so many deadlifts in it, do I need to put a day in between doing it and doing a back workout? --Karen

I'd say "yes", but only if your back workout was going to incorporate deadlifts or a lot of other lower back work (like supermans). But if you are going to be doing more upper or middle back, I'd say it is ok to go on consecutive days. Jeanne

I don't do LL and Back workouts 'back to back' (no pun intended :)

But just as a side point: I find that while doing deadlifts, I really have to focus on what to work, depending on which body part I'm doing.

When doing LL, I put more emphasis on pushing back up through the heels, and really feeling my hams engage.

But when doing the back workout, I don't lean forward past my knees, and concentrate on engaging the lower back on the way up.

I find you really can target the two different areas, depending on how far you lean over, and push back up.

(if that makes sense!)
