LauraMax, how is Minnie doing?

She's adjusting slowly but surely. I think she finally realized the gate is secure & the dogs can't get thru, so she doesn't go running every time they sniff at her.
And this morning we did have a breakthrough--Minnie snuck out! I was doing Body Max 2 cardio & I spied her sitting under the DR table (smart kitty not to try to hide under the step
). So that's progress! Of course as soon as the dogs spotted her & scrambled across the hardwoods to get her she disappeared, but she is making her way out on her own.
I have to wonder what goes on there when Max is crated & Cosmo is sleeping. I think I need a kitty-cam LOL.
Thanks for asking guys--I'll keep you posted. But it sounds like Kathryn's estimate of 2 weeks is right on the money (it'll be 2 weeks as of Saturday). I just can't wait to see Max trying to play with her.......:+

Oh man, the tree goes up next Thursday (my annual tree trimming party is next Friday). This should be interesting.
Well, at least the point of a tree trimming party is for the guests to bring ornaments. Maybe I'll leave them in the wrapping until I see what Minnie & Cosmo's tail destroys.

Holy crap. My kitten is gonna electrocute herself before she even has the chance to get gummed by Cosmo. What is this world coming to?
I have a great, wide base stand so I'm not too worried, especially considering she barely weighs 3 lbs & still isn't roving around much. If she knocks that tree over I'm re-naming her Hercules.
