Laundry

Hey Beth-

I have a Nike top like that and I hand washed it in cold a few times. Now I just throw it in the machine and no problems.

Good luck!

I know what you mean, I have (or should I say had) a really cute sports bra (black with white piping) and I usually wash my darks together so I threw it in and now the white piping is a very ugly gray. Wish I would have thought to keep it separate.

I was told by a clothing saleswoman once that to keep the red from bleeding onto the white part of a knit scrub top I was buying, that soaking it in cold water and lots of salt would set the red.

It did work, but I don't remember how much salt and also not sure if it would work on black.

You could always search on google for other methods.

I buy the Shout Color Catchers and they work pretty well.
They are available in the grocery store in the laundry aisle, usually near the laundry sheets.

Just a thought.
