Latin Cardio!

I love Latin dancing and I think it would be a BLAST to have an all cardio Latin workout. The warmup and cooldown could be a rumba style. The workout itself could be divided by types of dance (salsa, cha cha, tango, paso doble), with an intensity blast between each segment. You could use contemporary latin music and maybe some updated stuff as well. :) I think it would work as an all floor routine or even a step routine with a latin flair.

Carolyn:)

Also would love love a latin cardio. Talk about a fun tape.

Hey Carolyn,

I hope you see this response. I know you posted the original a long time ago, but I was just looking around and came upon it.

If you love Latin dancing, you should try a workout called Zumba! I teach it 7 times a week and it is, by far, the most fun Latin workout you will ever take!

If you have never heard of it, go onto Zumba.com and take a look at the "find instructor" section. You can type in where you live and it will give you a list of people in your area who teach it. Many of them offer free classes so you can decide if it's something you like.

Good luck!

Hi Jill,

Thanks for the suggestion! I live in Germany so I'm not sure if they offer that here. Do you know of any Zumba workout tapes? Thanks! :)

Hey Carolyn,

If you go to Zumba.com, you can order a four pack video of beginners, advanced, etc...I'm not sure if it's in Germany, but it's made it's way to London, Columbia and China so----hopefully Germany is next on their list!!!

I am not sure what Latin cardio would be like however, I just watched dancing with the stars and boy do they look like they are in shape. Looks like on “Dancing with the Stars” they have so much fun so I would sure try it.
