Large weight loss, shrinking boobs

I am 204# and am going to shoot for the 130's. I am currently a 38D . I know that most of this bra size comes from the weight all the way around your body. For those of you who have had a large weight loss, or inches loss, how far have you dropped in bra size? I (and DH) really enjoy the 38D's. Before I had kids I was a 34B and that's if I sucked in my breath. BTW, I have had 3 kids (12,10 and 7).

I most definitely experienced major boob shrinkage with weight loss. I am 5'8", at my heaviest I was about 190# and stuffed myself into a 40D, at my lightest I was about 127# and had trouble filling a 36B. My weight is now about 140# and I wear a 36C. I have 3 kids as well and nursed them all. Between the weight loss, nursing, gravity and time my formerly full and round breast have lost a lot of their volume but it's nothing that a very good bra can't fix. I remember when I first lost the weight, a lot of people were whispering and speculating that I had breast reduction surgery AND all of a sudden people were noticing my eye colour;) .

I have dropped two bra sizes, I've went from a D to a B. But this will also help your back, and you'll feel lighter over all. You'll acutally find your breast seem to stick out more when you lose the weight, as the tummy won't be competing with who can stick out the furthest. So you don't really lose your friends they just end up being a bit lighter.

Too funny! People can be sooo obvious sometimes. My SIL is very chesty. Guys talk to her chest. I bottle fed my first, then pumped only w/ the second for 6 months then the breast for 3 months w/ the third. I am only experiencing "room" in the upper part of the cup that wasn't there before. DH says the boobs do not matter, but when you've had them, you tend to like having them. Plus , I was robbed, both my sisters are 42DD and that was BEFORE they got out of high school. We are now all in our beginning to mid 30's.

Laurie it is so funny that I am reading your different weight and losses and mine was almost identical! I am 5'8" and I used to weigh 185#. I lost to 120# and now back up to 140#. But this is the depressing part. I started out with 36C boobs and now I am a 36A barely. I have been this for 4 yrs.

I just thought it was wild we pretty much weighed the same. At least you have some boobs. Does anyone have any I can borrow??

Kit,
I have been callinjg them the girls like some of you call them on the forum. My DH says "Who are you talking about?".LOL. I have noticed that since my stomach is flattening that they stick out more. I just dread "the drooop". But ?, if you keep up working the pecs, won't you not get the droop?

Hey Kim, that is funny! I am very happy at the weight I am now, if I lose more my face gets thin and kind of gaunt looking plus I have never been so cold as I was when I was at my thinnest, cold to the bone. I have entertained the thought of getting a boob lift, I can't wear anything that has a seam below where the boobs should go, I recently went dress shopping and was getting pretty frustrated that they would fit everywhere but therex( . I guess I should use this as yet another opportunity to accept myself as I am, plus these ones are already paid for:+ :)

So true, I just had a contractor do some work in my house, I talked to my friend that referred him to me and told her that he was a "boob talker", he was so obvious that I laughed a couple of times when he was doing it, I should have ducked down and looked up at him to make some eye contact or looked down at my chest and asked if there was something on my shirt. The next time I talked to my friend she was in complete agreement that he was indeed a "boob talker":)

i hear ya! mine have been shrinking and sag like the ones you see on the discovery channelx( i am definitely lifting mine when i get done losing all this extra weight. i was a 38 D and now i am down to a 34 C. the size is fine! it's the sag i can't take and i have never nursed anything, so it is even more pitiful!!!:p

my friends just got me a wall plaque that says:

"Go braless! It will pull the wrinkles out of yor face!":p

oh well, ya can't have everything! (but i am working on a master plan to change that terrible fact! i'll let ya know how it goes!)

When my older sister was in high school, the guys used to offer her $ just to squeeze them. Hmmm... I wonder if she ever fell for it? I used to get compliments on my legs. Ponder..... I will again once I start getting into Cathe and cleaning up my eating. For some reason it is a little harder for me than I thought it would be.

jdoll- ROTFLMAO- that is soo funny. My god, I do not want to sag. I'll duck tape them up if I have to. I have wanted a boob job for years, but DH is a butt and leg man and could care less about that part. I think if I had "a job" I would feel more comfortable w/ them.

Hi

I can't believe how much my boobs have shrunk! I've lost oer 40lbs in the last year and have gone from a 34E to a 32C. There's so much more variety out there now in bras now I'm a 32C...but I do miss them... as does my DH :)

Andrea

I've lost a little over 90lbs and I went from a 40DDD to a 36D. I wouldn't have minded going to a C cup, but I'm ok with a D!

Yeah Laurie, I agree with you about being at 140# now. My breast is the only thing I hate. But family would tell me how sickly I looked at 120-125# And yes my face looked sunk in. But everyone says I should stay my size now. I'm with you at being happy at this particular weight.

My breast sagged when I first lost weight and they were hardly nothing. But my DH told me to do chest presses and it would not make them bigger, butt tighten the chest muscles to lift the breast. And it actually worked a bit. But I'm sure you already know all of this!

I have had three kids, also, and I just wanted to encourage you. I used to have beautiful, perky breasts before kids. I mean, they were great and I loved them! Then I breastfed three kids, went from a big B cup to a porn star 36 DD. Now I can "stuff" (yes, like a Thanksgiving turkey) everything (by that, I mean loose skin) into a small B. I mean, all I am is stretch marks and skin, no breast tissue left at all. I was feeling very insecure when I let myself focus on that one aspect. But I have gained so much! I have such wonderful children to make up for it, and I am incredibly fit and healthy. It is worth have small boobs to be able to keep up with the kids and feel good about the rest of my body. Plus, DH believes that if it is more than a handful it is a waste. }( Get a good bra and don't look back! You will love who you will become with or without juicy mangos!

Oh my goodness, so when (if) I lose the weight I need to lose (100+ pounds), my bra size might go down 2-3 cup sizes?!? I was thinking that maybe I would go down to a D cup. I'm a DD now. I can't imagine being a C or B cup. I don't even remember wearing a C, let alone a B, lol, though I must have at some point!

Don't worry too much about it. The loss will be slow so you'll have time to get use to your new breast size. And you may like people noticing other parts of your body more, so it won't be such a shock. Remember healthy and fit, will make you feel awesome and have a ton of energy, and find a whole new you. If you start missing them you can have implants, or just stuff your bra. But in general your breast will go down according to your body size. So if you were generally big busted, even young, you probably will still be big busted for your new size. It's just you'll be a size 8 in a dress, and a DD really sticks out there when your that skinny. One way to think about it, is try to imagine your breast on any female on the cover a magazine. They look really funny don't they? That's because the breast aren't proportional to their body.

So yes you lose, but your not going to get any thing less then another women who is the same size as you. So another way to look at it. They’ll be normal for the size you want to become. But do, do a lot of chest presses, it will help them be a bit perky when you do shed the pounds.
