after an X-ray, I have been diagnosed with heel spur on my right foot, very painful, making it hard to excercise, even hard to walk,,, my doctor gave me an anti-inflamatories, and told me to use a heel gel to support my foot and some ice gel too for massage, but maybe among you ladies there is someone with the same problem and it's dealing with it wonderfuly, so I will take any advice,
Hugs to all of you and missing you,

Norma

I had that once and the heel gel inserts worked wonders for me. It took a little while but eventually it got better.

Hi,

I second birkenstocks. If you know your size, you can usually find closeouts online for almost 1/2 price.

I also have heel spurs, but have recently learned that it's not necessarily the heel spurs that are causing your pain, but rather the Plantar Fasciitus that you probably have. Keep your calve muscles very well stretched (and I mean all the time), ice your foot after working out, stretch your calves before you even get out of bed and take advil when necessary. I was so desperate that I finally got a Cortisone shot and that's helping for now. Also, gel inserts didn't work for me. My foot doctor said you need strong arch supports, so the more firm the insert, the better. Squishy inserts aren't typically that helpful (although they seem like they should be).

Good luck,
Shelbygirl
