Yeah, the bite was really getting to me today so I went to a Naturalpathic doctor and feel much better now. He put a lazer beam on the bite for 2 minutes and I instantly felt better. Interesting, that. Am also taking some nutrients now, as well. But in the meantime, I opted for the 1/2 hour workout with Lisa Kay -- and even that was pushing it for me.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better. In the meantime, I'm going to keep the workouts less intense and shorter.

Sounds like a great weekend. Woodcutting, huh? Bet the bike ride was beautiful. Wasn't it something to do with enjoying the fall season? Sounds wonderful. Hope you had a great time with golf, as well.

Well, I'm off to do a little bit of course and then back to get some more sleep. Have great hopes of feeling better tomorrow. Yes, it's the brown recluse that does tissue damage, but I was keeping that down with all my herbs that I put directly on the bite. But boy, that lazer really did some good. Like I said, I felt so much better afterwards. Funny thing is that now that the bite has dried up, you can see the little fang marks in the bite -- doesn't sound great, does it?

Me and spiders. Hope I don't get any more for a while. I think this is enough.

Well, the spider bite is doing a little better -- at least I have my energy back somewhat -- but I'm keeping it to less intense exercises -- let's see I did The FIRM's Super Cardio Scuplt with Nancy Tucker -- I know I have CTX tomorrow and a stretch, but we'll see how my energy level is -- hopefully, I'll be able to do the workout.

The FIRM Super Cardio Scupt is pretty good -- a 40 minute workout -- but it's not as intense as Cathe.

Well, hope all is okay with you, Jeanette and you, Rhea. And Janie, hope to hear from you, soon, too.

Did I mention that my daughter in NY has just gotten engaged? Can't wait to meet her fiance.

Good morning,
Slept in a bit this morning as I stayed home for a few hours. The carpet cleaning man came at 10:00 this morning. I did get a cardio workout in of about 45 minutes (Christi Taylor). Tonite was golf class. My stomach was a bit upset this morning so I opted to rest a bit more this morning instead of getting on the computer. Had golf class tonite and had a good time. I played okay too. Guess I'm getting a little better, thank goodness!

Karen, glad the spider bite is doing better. Hope your energy stays high. What a surprise that your DD is engaged! How nice! When will you get to meet her fiance? Karen, are the fires near to you at all? So terrible what has burned already! Hope you are okay.

Good morning,
Today was LIS from the new series. Really enjoyed it. I didn't get the step combos all the way but should soon. Shoulder work afterwards was good, though I modified the front raises as I can't do them with my elbow. Nice workout. Will concentrate on clean eating today as I haven't been doing well in that area.

Have to get my hair colored and cut after work today. Needs it badly!

It was no workout for me today. Was so tired this morning, that I decided to sleep in and just let the body have a rest.

My DH told me last night that the new workouts have come -- they came to our house there -- can't wait to do them. Hopefully this weekend, he'll send me another care package. So glad you liked that workout -- they do sound good -- one of them is 71 minutes, Paul said, which is a little long for me...

Jeanette -- great that you got your carpet cleaned -- we sort of need ours cleaned, as well, but there are other things that take priority right now. Super that golf went great -- bet it's quite relaxing in a way -- I know that the grounds are usually so very beautiful.

And did you hair coloring go well? I actally need to get my colored soon, as well. As soon as I'm all recovered from this bite.

Actually our house is not in the line of fire -- thank goodness. Thanks for asking, though. I asked my DH the same question.

Oh, and my DD is coming here this Friday -- my ex is here as well and so we'll all meet together. Am really looking forward to it. Is there anything expected of me when I meet the new fiance -- do you know -- some protocol?

Anyway, am planning to continue my lower intensity workouts tomorrow. Will probably do what I intended today and do a short cardio and stretch tomorrow.

Today was the new Kickbox and Leg workout. I started a little late so didn't get the abs in. The kickbox is very doable and I did enjoy it. Good workout and I liked the music okay too. Will have to revisit the abs later.

Karen, hope you got some good rest in yesterday. Hair coloring and cut look good. Not sure of any protocol. Just be yourself and know he will love you!

Golf class tonite, looking forward to the weekend!

It was another day of no workout for me -- opted to just rest and to work. At least I've started the new manuscript now. Only 3 pages into it -- but hey, I've started.:)

My DH is sending me the workouts over the weekend, plus some of my writing materials that I forgot to bring with me. He is such a wonderful man!:) And I really can't wait to do the new workouts.

As for my workout tomorrow, I'm going to do another non-intense workout, just to be on the safe side.

Am so glad that you like the hair coloring. It must be nice to have it done by someone else. I always do it myself cause of my allergies.

Happy Friday!

Today was HIS, that includes a more complex step routine with heavy chest and back work. I enjoyed this workout today. I didn't go nearly as heavy as Cathe as I only have 20# DB's (she uses 30# and 25#) but I still got a good workout in. Lots of variation for this workout. A thumbs up. The 3rd combo in HIS is tougher so I'll have to work on it when I have more time.

Golf was fun last night. We only have 2 more classes I think and will be done for the semester. Boohoo! Probably wood splitting and stacking tomorrow. Family Fall Festival in the evening with chili, cornbread and cider.

Karen, so glad your DH is sending you the new workouts. Hope you are all rested up today. Way to go on starting the new manuscript. I have one more newsletter that I need to start for the bike club. Gets harder and harder for me.

Yet another day of no workout for me. Still recovering from this bite. Amazing how tired it makes me. Utterly amazing.

Oh, did I tell you that my DD and her fiance came to see us today? It was my first time meeting the new member of our family. And I like him so very, very much. I think they are going to have a wonderful life together.

I am so looking forward to these workouts. I only hope to be back up to speed when they come. Golly, but it seems to take a lot to get this venim -- can't spell it -- out of the body.

Only 2 more golf lessons... Darn... That Fall Festival sounds wonderful! Have a blast, Jeanette!

I spent my mostly sleeping, I must admit. This bite has been down and out I'm afraid. So I'm not sure what my workout schedule will be for tomorrow because of this ****^*^*^*^ bite.

If I do feel like working out -- I think I'll start out with the FIRM once again -- something that isn't too intense and then build up again.

Boot Camp 2007 for me (from the new Cathe DVD). Good workout, I liked it a lot. Saturday I did LIS and HIS the step portions only and then stacked wood and did a bike ride on Sunday. Family Fall Festival was a lot of fun, but really have to get back to eating more healthy as the pounds have crept on.

Karen, really hoping those toxins are leaving your body, how miserable for you. Glad you enjoyed meeting your DD's fiance. When will they be getting married?

Karen - I sure hope you are over that bite soon. I'll be there with you starting over. I haven't worked out for.....hmm....can't even remember. I've chosen chores & work over workouts. If I didn't I wouldn't sleep though. Have you ever thought about a detox tea to drink to help speed things up? I tried one from the Republic of Tea, it is not too bad. Has milk thistle and other herbs to help the liver etc. I bought the tea at .....oh.....what's the name....World Market, used to be Cost Plus?....they've changed the name, but it is like Pier One, but they have an international food section (which I love to go browse through :) )

Jeanette - I'm so glad that you like the golf. This winter I'm working on getting my shoulder problem solved so I can have more comfort golfing. I'm seeing a physical therapist in Chester in November to start the process.

Well, I'm hoping to get in a workout today. I'm not sure what. I really want to try one of the new workouts, but not sure my body is up for it since I haven't worked out for a while. I do want to be able to walk tomorrow. But these clothes are getting way too tight, not good.

Good to hear from you, Rhea -- yeah, we'll both be back to the start, huh? The doctor (he's a nutritionalist) tells me I can start by walking for 1/2 hour -- and work up from there. So I'll start with that, I guess. He worked over my adrenals today -- and put the laser back on the bite -- and I'm feeling better today, I must admit. (knock on wood).

Jeanette -- how does the the new Bookcamp compare with the one from the Intensity series? Is it at all similar? Souonds like fun. Can't wait till I'm back to doing that. Sounds like that BBQ was great -- I sure do understand about about weight -- seem to be always fighting mine...

Rhea -- that tea sounds great -- I am actually taking some milk thistle in a capsule with some other herbs, as well -- plus taking some other nutrient for the liver, as well... I'm afraid these poisonous bites are just hard on me.

Anyway, we'll see what tomorrow brings -- hopefully, I'll be feeling much better and will actually be able to take a walk. Have a super day tomorrow! :7

Today was the Double Cardio from the new series LIS and HIS. Good sweating workout for me. Have golf class after work. Got good news on the promotional test I took back in September. I ranked #1 on the list so hopefully they can roll me from my present classification into a higher one. Have to find out about it today.

Rhea, good to hear from you. I need to get some leaves raked up for sure and more wood stacked as soon as DH gets some more split. Hope your back and shoulder problems start getting better for you.

Karen, the new Bootcamp isn't at all like the old Bootcamp. It has intensity drills more along the line of Drill Max, but maybe not as tough. There are 12 of them. The weights come afterwards, though there is probably a circuit premix so that it is more like the original Bootcamp. Think you will enjoy it. Hoping that you are feeling even better today. Did you get a nice walk in? I got 2 of them in yesterday.

Wow! #1 one on the promotional test. I hope that promotion is terrific and that you get it real soon! Again, that's so well done.

Double cardio sounds like fun. My DH hasn't sent me the workouts yet -- but soon -- and it was no workout for me yet today again. But I'm feeling better today -- have more of my energy back and I'm determined to do one of the FIRM workouts (they're only 30 minutes)tomorrow -- I have 3 of the 30 minute ones and then 1 40 minute FIRM sculpting (or weights) workout. I'll probably stick with those until I'm completely well again -- maybe will throw a walk in here and there, as well.

Am back to work, as well and got a bit more research done today -- started the manuscript, but then realized I had no idea what she was wearing -- what kind of house she was in -- what the village looked like where she was... More research... x(

But I should be able to write at least 5 pages tomorrow -- that's my target for tomorrow -- as well as a workout.

Up early this morning as I have to go to one of our conservation prison camps today. Will be nice to be out of the office. Today's workout was 4DS Kickbox and legs/core. Good workout, but I wouldn't say it's one of Cathe's best kickbox works. The legwork is good and I really felt the corework. May get a bike ride in after work.

Karen, sounds like you are on the upswing. Hope the energy is flooding back in. Enjoy your workout today. Your mind must always be going, thinking about your characters, plot, etc. You are amazing!

Jeanette, am enjoying the new workouts via you right now. Actually sounds like a good workout. Did you get in a good bike ride today -- and how was your Halloween. Conservative Prison camps -- what are those, by the way? Are they different than the regular prisons?

Anyway, I still haven't worked out yet. Same plan for tomorrow as I had for today. I just wasn't able to sleep last night -- tossed and turned and tossed and turned -- up and down all night -- finally at 6AM the body settled down.x(

Am planning to go to bed early tonight...:eek:
