Kickboxing question andloosing last 10 lbs

Hi!

First of all, thank you all for your great comments and help already. I am really excited b/c I finally found a rotation that I can really work with and am starting to break my plateau I have been on for 9 months.

Second, I am doing Kickmax 3x a week, interval 2x a week and strength 2-3 times a week. I am loving my results! I lost 1 inch already in my hips. Do I need to do upper body 3x a week if I am getting a good upper body workout in kickmax? Is that overtraining you think? My arms get really sore when I do upper body day after kickmax. I just love Kickmax. That blast series at end is a killer. I still have yet to master all 10 blast, but can do 7 of them already.

Finally, How would you classify Kickmax for cardio? is it a good long steady cardio workout? I know its kickboxing, but this may be stupid but I was thinking it could be an interval workout b/c of end too. So now I'm not sure. Thanks.
