Hey Melissa!!

Where is everyone else today????:confused::)

No workout for me today, it is my day of rest!!

Melissa- any thoughts on what you are going to do? I thought you got some great advise yesterday- newspapers or tv could be the way to go, or a petition with your neighbors. I'm the kinda gal who you say to me "you can't fight city hall" and I take that as a challenge!!:p
did you workout today or take the day off?

.......off to the library and food shopping before the snow hits tonight! I'm hoping for another snow day!... is that too greedy????LOL:eek:
 
Just finished
ETK swings
20 swings, 6 squat thrusts each minute, for 12 minutes
My forearms started burning sooner this workout, but not as badly. At no time did I feel like my forearms were going to spasm :p I did (not necessarily in this order) 7 rounds with 35#, 2 with 25# and 2 with 44# - the last and 12th round I did 10 with 44# and 10 with 35#.
Cashed out with a pyramid I stole from Deanie :eek:

push ups 5 10 15 10 5

I did them all with a 10 pound weighted vest, and I had to jump my last pull up. That was tough! All in all, great workout!!! :D

Deanie, I talked to many neighbors, and only one had a spike like we had this month. Either the extreme cold busted some underground pipes or something else is up. Tomorrow, we plan to have someone come and look at our pipes, just to make sure. Either way we are going to politely ask them to compare our bills and give us a fair $$$, or we are gonna get funky with it. Not in the good way. ;)

Marcy, Budokon is on for Saturday! I can't wait to share my (clumsy) experience with you :)

Gotta run now - I think it's SNOWBALL FIGHT TIME!!! We got over 4" this morning. WOOOOOHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

BTW: Deanie, how has your back been? Does it still get tight?

I did Athletic Step today. This one definitely got my HR up (to 99%!) but it wasn't my favorite. Lots of recycled moves. At one point, I felt like I was doing Low Max all over again. This one went in the trade pile and was quickly snapped up - I will be getting Ilaria Montagnani's Bodystrikes (a lower body non-weighted workout). I have her Powerstrike Millennium 2 which I love.

Melissa - Can't wait to hear how you like Budokon! Which one do you have? Great job on the swings! I hope things work out for you with your water bill. It actually started snowing here in GA but very little chance of there being enough for a snowball fight. They have no arsenal for snow removal - they don't sell shovels, salt, snow plows. One of the partners in my office said one of the biggest snowfalls they had here was 8" and the highway was literally stranded with cars who ran out of gas.

Deanie - Hope you're enjoying your rest day! Get anything good from the library?

Rhonda - (((HUGS))) Let me know when you want to do a Shock Cardio workout together.

Binge Day

Well in preparation for my upcoming fast, I attempted to store food like a bear. It is so flipping cold here, I feel like hibernating. At least you girls are getting snow. It is going to get in the teens tonight.

No exercise today because the dog at my dvd's. All 40 something of them.:p

Deanie- Hope you enjoyed your rest day.

Melissa- I hope your water bill gets adjusted. I will add that to my list of things to pray for.

Marcy- I will let you know about Shock Cardio. I might like Athletic Step since Low Max is my go to workout.
