Kettlenetics?

Hi,

I was just looking at the new videos on Collage and saw one called Kettlenetics and it's led by Michelle Khai.

Has anyone ever heard of her, or know anything about kettlenetics? I am very interested in learning to use a kettlebell and her kit looks like it would be good for someone starting out.

I'd call this a "kettlebell lite" workout.

The 4# kettlebell in it will in no way give you a feel for real kettlebells.
If you want to get into real KB workouts, I'd also be concerned that you'd learn bad form (because it takes power from the legs and hips to swing a heavy-enough KB, but it's very easy to power the move with the arms with a very light KB, in fact, almost impossible not to. I focus on the swing, because that's a basic/core move for KB workouts, and it's important to have good form on it).

IMO, it might be an okay workout for either 1) someone not interested in getting into real KB workouts, but who thinks it looks fun, or 2) someone who does KB workouts, but is looking for something different, but won't mess up their form for KB because they already know it.

That's my 2 1/2 cents on the subject. LOL!
