Good Morning!!! and Happy New Years Eve!!!

Even though my back felt good yesterday and last night, I decided taking it easy was more important than upping my weights, so I stayed at the same weights as yesterday. The deadlift really clicked with all the pointers and the lower weight, much easier to practice form!!! so in a way, hurting my back and dropping the weight, really worked out for me!:p;):)

Okay, I think I am going to bite the bullet and start a new blog!! :eek:Not sure if I will start it the first of the year, or the first day of ETK. I am going to use it the same way I use this blog, may add some stuff like links to good articles and stuff, but we'll see.... thanks for all the encouragement!!!:):)

Jane: sounds like a perfect New years eve for you!!! How nice of your sisters to give you a day off!! You deserve it, make sure you take it!!!:)

Your dance workshops sound fun, especially the bolero one! I love that music! I heard the Hangover is really funny, I haven't seen it though.

What I did for the first few weeks of ETK is in my blog, my first few posts. If you have a hard time getting them let me know. you can probably follow that to some extent. According to the book, you can do your usual workouts and add the swings and tgu's.... I am going to finish the last 2 weeks of pttp with the first 2 weeks of etk, not ideal, but I want to finish pttp. I would add a conditioning move (ropes, snatch) with tgu day and some strength moves (squats, press, dl) with the swings day and then a met con of some type for the 5th day. Thanks for the exercises, I am doing them :)!!

Gayle::: I hear you about the Jets, they are like our Mets, loveable losers! LOL! I liked your workout yesterday! Yea! for the base cabinets getting installed!! sounds like you are almost there!!!! Can't wait for pictures:):) Your evening tonight sounds nice....and yummy!

Happy New Year's Eve!!

I got my run in last night!! :D:D:D:D I ran for 35 minutes under the Christmas lights downtown. It was very pretty. Not many people were around.

Tonight it's the following workout:
5 Rounds
100 Jump Rope
15 KB Push Presses
15 Swings
15 Push ups

Deanie ~ Glad you had a great workout and that being a tad injured helped out.

Hope everyone has a great day! I'm stuck at work probably until 5 unless they decide to spring us early.

Here is my workout. I am going to do it just now because we are going to a party where there will be lots of junk and I want to make sure that I am burning extra. ;)

Mountain Climbers
KB high pulls
Burpees
Alt. Cleans
Slam balls
1:30 minute rest

repeat 5x
