Good evening, everyone.
I did LIC cardio today - and for the first time since last fall my knee was killing me! My knee hasn't bothered me at all these past 9 months, and I have only stepped MAYBE 3 times since then... every time my knee hurt at least a little bit, but today was pretty bad. Step is officially bad for me.

I did an easy upper body workout as well. I am going to start doing more weights and less kettlebell for a while. I am feeling unmotivated to do much of anything workout wise, so I am doing something totally different. I got a free trial membership to the gym and will be lifting there for at least a month.

I have also taken some time off to ease into the school schedule. My problem is I have to go to bed earlier than I was over summer, but I don't, so I end up tired and mean all day long. DH has agreed that we will be in bed earlier so people will like being around me again - and then my workouts won't be as draining as they were. My goal is to be in bed quarter to 10, and I am cutting it close tonight!
Jane, it's been more than a week since your birthday - how do you feel???
Gayle, I am so jealous of your drywall! We have a new construction home, and the drywall is crumbling around the corners, it's dented, cracking - ugh!!! It's like they used paper mache made by middle schoolers to build our walls.

One day, I will enjoy the bliss of new walls, too! But that, of course, will have to wait until the kids leave.

In the meantime, I am super excited for you and am doing the happy dance!!!
