!!!Kettlebell's First day of School!!! Monday

Good Morning!!!


First day of school for my boys today!!!! UGH!!!:mad: that means I wake up at 5:00am to workout before getting them ready for school!

Here's my workout for the day, it was harder to do at 5:30 half asleep than when I worked out at 7:30 ALL SUMMER!!! (man I really didn't want summer to end!!)

set gymboss for 30 minutes:
10 rounds competed
advanced level
:30-1:00 minute rests between sets
(last week :30-1:00 minutes)
8:50!!!:eek: left on the gymboss--> so completed workout in 21:10 minutes!!
(last week completed 10 rounds in 23:39 minutes)WOOHOO!!

18,650# moved!!!:)

NOTES:
* swings felt good, the press was tough today!! ended up doing some push presses for the last 2 presses of a few rounds

Rhonda: good luck getting organized!:) I have found when I lay my clothes out the night before, that morning I don't feel like wearing what I put out:eek:. No, I don't cry about the first day, but I do miss the kids!!! I actually start back tomorrow for "in house" days, so I won't have time to miss them then;)

Jury duty is over for me, its a one day/one trial thing and I put in my day:):):)

Good Morning everyone. Today I did Providence and for some reason had lots of energy.

Deanie- I picked out outfits for the whole week. So if I change my mind, I have alternates. Hope your boys have a great 1st day. Way to go on working out on the 1st day. 181 more days until summer:p.

Deanie - Great workout! Happy first day of school for your boys. Glad to hear you got out of jury duty! :) I'm starting PTTP tonight. I'm going to follow some of CF 603's additional stuff and a little of my own.

Props to you for being able to stay with a program. I'm a little nervous that I'll get sidetracked with this. I hope that I can get into the gym here at work 4 days per week, and if things get too crazy, I can at least make time to just do the DLs and presses.

Rhonda - Good job on Providence! Good luck with your quest for organization.

Jane - I'm sorry Friday at your folk's didn't go so well. Hope your able to recuperate this week. The races you have scheduled sound great!

We got drywall installed in our new kitchen this weekend. Woohoo! The guy has to come back during the week to do more mudding and sanding. One more step forward in our renovation process...which is entering year 4!! :eek::eek::eek:

Anyway, I'm heading into the gym tonight to start PTTP.

Hi Everyone!

I'm back on board today. It was an intense day on Friday but I'm proud that I didn't lose my patience. I was just really tired. I was up late all week and up early to go to work so I was just fried. I worked out yesterday by going for a run and doing PUB.

Today will be swim day unless I get rained out.

Deanie ~ Yikes...working out at 5am. There is no way I could do that. I get up to go to work at that time. I just can't imagine working out at that time. Kudos to you!!

I did 30 Day Shred (Level 3) today:

Walking Planks -spiderman pushups
Supermans
Mountain Climbers
Sumo Hops
Pike Crunch
Scissor Crunch
Dumbbell cleans (used 20# kb)
Jumping Lunges
Dumbbell shadow boxing (used 5#)
Butt Kickers with dumbbells (used 5#)
Jumping Jacks with dumbbells (used 5#)
Situps (did Janda situps)
Pushups (travelling)
Plank Rows with leg raises (used 5#)
Jump Squats
Rock Star Jumps
Side Plank Raise

I thought this was harder than level 2 although some find level 2 harder than level 3. I also did the Power Arms segment from Ultimate Cardio Barre. Lots of tricep work on all different planes (standing, kneeling, head down and lying). I also did the stretch from Butts & Guts.

I'm running late so I don't have time for personals. I'll get back to you all tomorrow.

Good evening, everyone. :)

I did LIC cardio today - and for the first time since last fall my knee was killing me! My knee hasn't bothered me at all these past 9 months, and I have only stepped MAYBE 3 times since then... every time my knee hurt at least a little bit, but today was pretty bad. Step is officially bad for me. :( I did an easy upper body workout as well. I am going to start doing more weights and less kettlebell for a while. I am feeling unmotivated to do much of anything workout wise, so I am doing something totally different. I got a free trial membership to the gym and will be lifting there for at least a month.

Rhonda, I am happy that you had a ton of energy! I am hoping that whatever problems you have been dealing with will not keep you down, but will make you stronger. (((((HUGS)))))) Just remember Jeremiah 29:11

I have also taken some time off to ease into the school schedule. My problem is I have to go to bed earlier than I was over summer, but I don't, so I end up tired and mean all day long. DH has agreed that we will be in bed earlier so people will like being around me again - and then my workouts won't be as draining as they were. My goal is to be in bed quarter to 10, and I am cutting it close tonight!

Jane, it's been more than a week since your birthday - how do you feel??? :p

Gayle, I am so jealous of your drywall! We have a new construction home, and the drywall is crumbling around the corners, it's dented, cracking - ugh!!! It's like they used paper mache made by middle schoolers to build our walls. :confused: One day, I will enjoy the bliss of new walls, too! But that, of course, will have to wait until the kids leave. ;) In the meantime, I am super excited for you and am doing the happy dance!!!:D:D:D
