I feel like I need to hang my head in shame :eek::eek::eek: My time was 27:42. What a horrible workout - I wasn't feeling it AT ALL. I guess I could technically blame it on the sugar I ate last night. I wasn't motivated. :( This is why I try to stay away from that stuff - it kills all of my energy and makes me sluggish. Ugh. I renamed today's workout to "Lame Missy." :eek:

Deanie, great job on your DLs! Nice run. I haven't been in a long time. I think I will incorporate it into my workout tomorrow. It will be the first time I have used my TM this season!

Melissa - Don't be so hard on yourself...I still think anything with 100 weighted squats qualifies as "crazy". :) I watched the first half of the NE vs. Indy game the other night and went to bed contented that my Patriots were kicking a$$...:mad:. I blame Belichik!!! Actually, if NE has to lose, I'd rather it be to a team like Indy...I do like Payton. ;)

Deanie - WTG on your purty OHS and nice 400M time! That's seriously fast. :)

Rhonda - I hope everything goes well with your sister and niece. Congrats on finishing your class, and good luck with your house!

Last night I did:

DLs: 10 sets of 3 reps with 30 sec rest between sets - 158lbs
* 30 sec was not really rest...just enough time to shake out my hands. This was different, the last two sets were getting hard, and at the end I felt a little bit nauseous.

OHS:
5 @ 33lbs
5 @ 43lbs
5 @ 53lbs
3 @ 63lbs (NOT purty)
2 @ 63lbs - fail on 3
5 @ 53lbs
* Everything leading up to 63lbs felt strong and stable, but the last 10lbs was a bit of a train wreck.

I'm planning some kind of KB workout at home tonight.

Dan and I couldn't BELIEVE some of the calls he made!!! Going for it for the 4th instead of punting it is what cost them the game. I am obviously happy he made that call, but I still couldn't believe he did it. I actually felt sorta bad for Brady on the sidelines - every time they showed him during the Colts' last drive, he was standing there looking in shock and p!ss@d at the same time. I don't like Belichik, though, so I wasn't feeling too bad for him.

Way to go for pushing for that extra 10! And you can lift me, btw. Doesn't it feel good to know you could lift another person? :p

Missy ~ Good for you for trying that workout. You know I'm crazy but 100 WEIGHTED squats!! Yikes!! You are not lame. You would have been lame if you didn't do the workout. Cheers for trying. You'll get 'em next time!!

Graham crackers and butter! We used to add sugar and call them cracker, butter and sugar! Yummy!!

Good Afternoon!

I decided to sleep in a little longer this morning so I didn't have time for much but I did 1 pullup, 6 chinups, Shoulder High from PY4H2 and managed to do a couple of straight leg levitation holds. I'll be taking my 2-step class later.

I just read that Exhale is opening up in Atlanta in early 2010 so I can actually go to a live class! I have their Glutes & Thighs DVD which is pretty good but nothing's the same as a live class.

Melissa - Sorry your workout didn't go as well as you planned but even attempting it is good enough for me. I'll pass on the weighted squats! I'll also be cheating as there is a birthday celebration here in an hour but I'll try and only have a small piece of cake. Another ab workout you might want to try is Mindy Mylrea's All About Abs. I find her abwork tougher than Cathe's - especially her no equipment abs and stability ball abs. She also does lots of plank work.

Hi again gals!!

Had a very run around/crazy morning this morning, and was late to work...(first time in 4 years!!!!) this morning...ugh!:rolleyes:

Melissa::: LAME MISSY?????? no way!!!! seriously, 100weighted squats??? and you did them????.... I'm thinking crazy melissa is a better name. You should be proud you finished that workout!!

Gayle::: great job on the dl's and OHS. I am still impressed with the 63# OHS even if it wasn't purty:p Have fun with the KB's tonight. Hope gram's doing better.

Jane::: Have fun running under the xmas lights!!! adds a little sparkle to your run:) How's the car?

Marcy::: Great job with the chinups!!!! Enjoy your dance class tonight!
