Kettlebell the Thurs. b4 Halloween!!!

Where is everyone? :confused: I hope everyone is okay!

I did my own workout today - only much LESS INTENSE than that crazy one I did last week. Here it is:

6 rounds of:
10 swings w/ 35#
10 lft snatches w/ 20#
10 alt cleans w/ 20# (could have done 25#)
10 rt snatches 20#
20 figure 8's with 20#, moved up to 25#


It was much less grueling than that punishing w/o I did last week. I finished in under 18 minutes even with about 45 second - 1 minute breaks between each round. It was very fast and fun and my heart was pumping! I was really feeling my triceps by the 4th round of snatches. I followed that w/o up with BBC arms and abs.


I am going to take the kids to the park after my hemp protein shake and naan bread with pb. I love the park in the fall! And it is an absolutely gorgeous day today, canNOT waste it!

I'm planning to play with my kettlebells tonight. It's been busy here. I'm going to a conference in Denver next week, so I've been trying to make sure all my loose ends are tied up.

Good Afternoon!

I did Attitude Ballet & Pilates Fusion (the 68 min. premix of both workouts). I really like the Pilates matwork in this. Lots of balance work as all barre work is done in the center. Used 3-5# weights. Some of the matwork uses weights; some doesn't. I'm really starting to get a fondness for pilates again.

I'm feeling much better today. It seems like my cold is gone. Can't believe it only lasted a day. But my hip's still bothering me a little.

Melissa - Great workout! Are all the leaves turning colors yet?

Jane - Hope you make it through tonight's workout! Sounds intense!

Marcy, most of the leaves have pretty much fallen. :( It was beautiful last week, now all the leaves that are left are brown, yuck. BUT, the sound the leaves make when you are walking over them is so cool! We watched squirrels and chipmunks getting ready for winter... The entire ground is like a carpet of yellows and splashes of reds and it is very very neat. :) We brought some leaves home to find out what kind of tree they are from. I guess school isn't really out, lol.

Thanks for posting the tabatas!!! I love 'em. Question: what is a vintage swing?

Gayle, I saw on the radar that Denver is covered in snow already! I hope you get all your ends tied before you have to head out. It's nice to not have to worry about anything when you have to go away. :)

Jane, that looks like fun! 80 is a bread from the heat for you, isn't it? Enjoy the weather. :)

Deanie, sorry about the crazy morning. I hope that doesn't carry over into the evening for you.
