Good Morning! Sorry to be mia last week. Between my main computer getting a virus and my couch looking really comfortable.....well.

I did Providence 1-8 this morning. Not making any exercise promises but my goal is to workout 5 times this week.

last 2 days of spring break today.:( I am having the Mahjong gals over today and we are playing this afternoon:):):) we are so wild:p;) usually we play at night! We are all teachers, so we have the day off!

Here's what I got in over the weekend:

Friday - Took it outside. ;)
Buy in:
Dynamic stretching
3 Rounds
* 10x halos
* 3x chin ups (modified)

ETK: Swings and jogging for 15 minutes
* Round 1 @ 12kg, 35 swings, 100m jog
* The remaining rounds @ 16kg, 15 swings, 100m jog. There might have been 10 rounds, I lost count.

Saturday
ETK: TGU 12 minutes @ 12kg
* 10r/10l with 15 sec to spare. :)

Cash out: Tabata couplet - Jump rope & swings @ 12kg
* Alternating each exercise for 8 rounds of each

I'm planning to do swings tonight.

If you get the chance could you check my form?, especially on snatches. Everything felt great, wonderful actually, but I need an objective eye. I honestly am feeling too good about 35# to be able to see anything but wonderful anything (even the laundry) clearly.

Melissa - I think your cleans and presses looked really super solid. :cool: The snatches looked smooth, but the only thing that looked "iffy" in the video is that your elbow doesn't always look locked out at the top (I now Pavel is big on that). Actually, I think your elbow lock out gets better after the 2 minute mark.

I may take some video of my swings for you guys to critique later this week.

Yes, round 8 is the flip & squat. I LOVE doing them, but I always get that pukey feeling when I'm done with them. I think I'm so busy concentrating on catching the flip that I don't realize how hard I'm working.

I loved working outside, but I must admit that it was a little warmer than I like...80 degrees...I got hot! :eek::eek::eek: I think I'm turning into a polar bear. I did the sand bag workout the week before in 40 degree weather and that felt "just right". :eek:

About the Cadbury Eggs...I've been avoiding the drug store for the past 3 weeks, so I don't have to look at them. DH and I love them, but since they show up at VALENTINE'S DAY in the stores around here, it's an addiction that can get waaaay out of hand. :p WTG on your discipline!!!
 
Good Afternoon Everyone!

Sorry my posts are far and few between. Still really busy. I did Dove #1 today and went for a 30 minute walk. Dove today had lots of step ups (parallel and turned out), burpees, for cardio mainly jump rope, for abs - boat, boat crunches, bicycle, rockabyes, reverse crunches, etc. Chest work includes decline pushups, chest presses and chest flys. Back work - rows, 1-arm rows. Biceps - curls. Shoulders - Military presses and lat raises. Legs - Alternating lunges, stationary lunges, front kicks, roundhouse kicks, curtsey lunges, etc. Used 5# and 8# for arm work.

The weather's really beautiful here this week - 80s and sunny.

Melissa - Congratulations on the new weight! I know how hard it is holding off on the treats. I caved and had my raisinets again yesterday but I'm going to try and hold off on eating them again. Once I start, I can't stop!

What is up with them putting holiday/seasonal stuff out so early? We now have Christmas stuff out before it's even Halloween and DH actually was able to bring home some Creme Eggs before V-Day. :rolleyes: It just makes me want to rebel and not buy anything.

Marcy, hey girl! Long time no see! :p I dropped sugar because once I start there is absolutely no stopping. At all. It's a train wreck on crack, seriously.
I hope you are able to get out and enjoy the weather! We sure are trying, but we came back because the kids think it's hot - it's only 75*! I think it's because they really want to play video games. They absolutely will not, Spring Break does not = letting your brain waste away. ;)

I don't know about the RKC - its expensive and I don't know what I would do with it, if I could get a job using it, etc.... maybe the HKC....:confused:
