Good Morning and Happy Monday!

Today I did Drill Max Scrambled Cardio Blast. I really hate round 5 so I subbed mountain climbers and running in place.

Still haven't finished my homework that's due tonight:eek:. I will get it done (hopefully).

Waves to all!

Good morning!

Rhonda - Sounds like you've gotten some great workouts in! KM sounded killer and Strong Fit sounds cool. Is your asthma getting better? I believe an authentic 60's hippie outfit would include tie-die and patchouli, however the modern hippies that I've encountered also never go anywhere without a hacky-sack. :p

Jane - Great job on your race. It sounded very cool! What a great place to have it. :)

Deanie - Have a happy Yom Kippur. (I confess that I also don't know much about it and had to Google it ). Great workouts this weekend! Bertha doesn't sound so big anymore when you write about her. ;):)

The deadlift/burpee pukefest was tough! I used 135lbs and finished it in 15:01. The burpees killed me...I was pacing them significantly by the 5th round.

Waves hello to Marcy, Forever39 and Melissa!

I had a good, busy weekend. I went to a football game and ski sale on Saturday. We lost, but I got new ski boots! :)

DH and I assembled some kitchen cabinets yesterday. We got about 1/3 of them done.

I'm heading to the gym tonight, but don't have a plan yet.

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

Ok....I know that I said my last day of swimming was last week. Then I swam on Saturday because I truly thought that would be my last swimming day of the season but I was wrong. It's 93 today and sunny so I'm going tonight for one last time. Truly....I think this is it.

Gayle ~ I'm glad you had a fun weekend. Yay...ski boots!!

Rhonda ~ Good job on Drill Max. I don't care for drill 5 either. I sub kettlebell swings.

Deanie ~ Enjoy your holiday. When I was in school we used to get Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur off from school. I grew up in a predominately Jewish suburb of Chicago. I remember to going to school in 3rd grade (went to a Catholic school for grades 1 and 2) and there being only a handful of kids in school. That's when we started to get the holidays off.

Waves hello to Marcy and Melissa!

Good Afternoon!

I wound up waking up before 3 a.m. and never really went back to sleep but I managed to get through all of Core Synergistics which I haven't done in close to two years. This one still kicks my butt! Burned 404 calories.

Stacked Foot/Staggered hand pushups: 30
Banana Rolls
Leaning Crescent Lunge - 24 reps/8#
Squat run - 5#
Sphinx pushup: 11
Bow to Boat
Low Lateral Skaters (with leg lift): 20
Lunge & Reach - 10# (4 sets of 10 each side)
Prison Cell pushups - 7
Side Hip Raises - 15 each side
Squat X-Press - 30 reps/8#
Plank to Chaturanga Run - I still hate this move! Really struggled.
Walking pushups - 1 min.
Superman/Banana
Lunge/Kickback/Curl/Press - 20 reps/8#
Towel hopping - 1 min. - did all! I used to have so much trouble with this.
Reach high and under pushups - 8
Steam engine - 50 reps
Dreya roll - 7 (I think I used to do more but I was exhausted by this point)
Plank to Chaturanga ISO - surprisingly I did well with this - held full minute
1/2 back - tire runs and run backwards
Table Dip leg raise - 30

Jane - Great run! I was worried you were going to get rained out (we still had rain all weekend). The temps are starting to go down here (only 79 today).

Gayle - Congatulations on getting some of your cabinets done and on the new ski boots! Great job on your deadlift/burpee pukefest!:D I'll pass on that one! Prison cell pushups were enough!

Rhonda - I also hate Round 5 in Drill Max. Yes, it feels great to get a clean bill of health. How's the Singulair working?

Deanie - Great workouts this weekend! Hope you're having a nice holiday!

Waves to Melissa and Forever39!
