Here's my workout for today:

Simple. Not Easy.

  • 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 squats

[FONT=&quot]
[/FONT]Deadlift

  • Set 1: 3-5 reps 5@135#
  • Set 2: 90% of Set 1, 3-5 reps 5@115#

[/FONT]Press

[FONT=&quot]
[/FONT]Cash out

  • 3 rounds for time:
  • Run 400M
  • 21 air squats
  • 14 kettlebell swings (24K/16K)
  • 7 burpees

cashout time: 10:21
ran on the treadmill @ 8.0
....stupid burpees!:rolleyes::)

Hey! You beat me to the post. :cool:

I will be running this morning, haven't decided how/ what yet. Something like what Jane did on Thursday (or was that Wed?) Will post my time later.

Gotta run to get my run in before everyone else is up! DH kept everyone up late last night watching movies and THANK GOODNESS they are all sleeping in.

Hi Everyone!

I ran my race this morning. It was HOT!!! It was about 80 degrees at race time with lots of humidity! It was a hilly course and longer than a 5K so my time was a little off.

Here was my w/o:

4 rounds:
800m run
20 pushups
10 prison cell burpees
10 1-legged gypsies
24 v-sits

plus another 800m run and 20 more pushups
(I am kicking myself for not pushing until fatique, grrr! Why didn't I think of that before I got in the car to drive home???)

I am having a rest day tomorrow. I have to travel up to the Chicago area for a couple of days for a funeral so I may not be around. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I'll see you when I get back. :)

I know I was supposed to take a rest today, but I know I won't get a workout in tomorrow so I did Providence this morning plus 40 pull/chin ups :eek::D:eek: and renegade row, barbell rows, and cleans. Great w/o! :)

Hi Everyone!

Melissa ~ I like your workout.

Today I was planning on doing a 6 mile run but it was shorten to about 4.5. My sister and I were running and noticed a dog running back and forth across the road and along the sidewalk where we were running. We passed the dog and then about 5 minutes later...BAM!!! We turned around and the dog got hit by a car. There were some other folks walking and they stopped with us and well as the driver of the car. The poor thing was gone. The driver of the car was upset but it was clearly not her fault. It makes me so mad that some people don't take care of their dogs! :mad::mad::mad::mad: The dog had a collar but no tags so I called the police (non emergency line) b/c I didn't know who else to call. My mom's friend lives just down the street and she called animal control. She said the dog has been wandering around the neighborhood for 3 days. Poor thing.

Anyway I came home and did the upper body portion of Muscle Max.

I keep thinking about that poor dog. :(:(:(
 
Hi ladies!

I did CCPP today. I haven't done that workout in a while...it felt good. :) Then I cashed out with some pull up/push up practice.

Deanie - Burpees are, and always will be stupid. ;):p Nice workout!

Jane - Nice job on the race!

Melissa - Sweet workouts! Have a safe trip to Chicago.

I gotta go pack for Denver. I'll try to check in next week from the road if I can. Have a good rest of the weekend!
