Kettlebell DVD rant

Ok, so I purchased "Revolution, Kettlebell Fat Loss Program" by Franz & Yoanna Snideman. I received it yesterday & preview it this morning. Here is my rant, some of the exercises call for the use of 2 kb's at a time. I really like the exercises presented, I want to do the routines (2 intermediate and 2 advanced), but gosh darn it now I have to get more kb's to make sure I have 2 of each. BTW, DH is NOT happy to see more exercise equipment & dvd's arriving almost daily to our mailbox. So I go to USA Kettlebells, order 2 10lb's & 1 13lb. At checkout I clicked business delivery instead of residence and guess what? Shipping for 33 lbs was only $6.10. Now I used the same address as when I ordered a 1 13# & 1 15# and shipping was $17 and change with that order. It is only a five pound difference but more than a $10.00 difference in shipping. Ok I am whining. On to better things, I received my two AOS wo's today, excited to preview those tonight. So the moral of my rant should be "a lot worse things can happen in life!"

I've used some of Steve Cotter's workouts that call for 2 KB's at a time, using only 1 KB. The workouts are in repeated rounds, so I just do one side on round 1, the other side on round 2. (If there was a round 3, I either didn't do it, or repeated a round for 4 rounds, or changed arms 1/2-way through).

I have the Snideman's latest DVD, and MY rant about them is that there is absolutely, positively NO cuing (not talk at all) during the workout (and for some moves you can't safely watch the TV to see what they are doing or when they change what they are doing), AND there's often no lead time before an exercise and the chapter starts with them ready to go. Is the KBR set like that ?

I held off on KB just because of the expense. Luckily, a very generous friend gifted me with a KB and a couple workouts. Everyone needs a fairy godmother like mine!

What website did you order from?

I ordered my Ader kb's from USA kettlebells and I get them less than 48 hours later. They ship from El Segundo (Los Angeles county) and I am in San Diego so hence the very reasonable ship cost.
