Kegels/ tired lower back

Thank you to whoever reposted Sheila's VERY informative discussion of kegels, a few days ago. I found it to be very helpful, and learned a lot. I have accordingly been trying to do a slight kegel during my step workouts and think I'm getting the hang of it.

I am in my 9th week, and able to continue with my typical rotations, but am finding my lower back is *very* tired. I've dropped my core/ab work down to 3-4 days a week, rather than 6, and am going to leave out my yoga poses that are strenuous on the lower back. Maybe my lower back just needs more rest/recovery than it used to. On that note, I think the relaxin is swirling through my system, as I've become a bit more flexible in many of my yoga moves. Pregnancy is an adventure.....

You are welcome! I am glad you found it informative!

I remember that "tired" feeling. I was reminded of an old injury during my pregnancies... not pleasant.

Pregnancy and motherhood are definitley adventures!

Take care!
