***keep-on-keepin-it-CLEAN Tuesday***

Food was *pretty good* yesterday - I had two small cheats - a cup of hot chocolate in the afternoon (was really cold after walking back from court in the cold/wind) and then two bites of coconut cake after dinner. Not perfect, but certainly not terrible.

I am doing GS Chest & Tris this morning - ugghhh, there is such a dread factor with this workout. The drop sets are endless and I *know* I am going to be so sore tomorrow. I know I will feel better (and look better) when I do it.

UGH! You HAD to ask about food, Katie !!!!!!!:( My eating will make you feel MUCH better about yours ! It was probably the worst day I've had throughout the holidays !!!!
I ate a piece of coconut cream pie after lunch. Then midway thru the day I had two espresso chocolate chip cookies with my green tea (those are my favorite cookies I made this year !!!!!! Got them on OD board and they are awesome!) . Then I thought I was through and we ran out to Costco in the evening and DH bought us each a churro !!!!!!!!!!!!:eek: You know, those FRIED breadsticks covered in cinnamon and sugar ?????????

Okay, so I woke up today and said I am finished with leftovers ! No more pie and I'm freezing the rest of the cookies, or giving them away. I can resist everything else.
I think I'm doing a circuit today.......maybe one of my new Jillian ones.

Now I'll slink away....................:eek::eek:
Becky OH! PS . I DID resist a hot chocolate that DH offered to get me at Starbucks, but by then I was feeling like a beached whale........probably the only reason I resisted !! blahhhhhhhh

DDs spent the night with the inlaws so it'll be a quiet house here this morning!
Need to do some errands but it is so bitterly cold out I don't want to shuffle Julia in and out....we'll see how stir crazy I get!:p

b - eggs w/ ham, grn pepp, mushrooms. Pineapple
l - lemon basil chicken salad
d - cheeseburger w/ no bun. baked potato slices w/ grn pepp & onions
wo - not sure. Maybe Step Moves? I want to try the Hiit ones but if there are any pushup type moves I cant do them. KB is out for now too. I am so frustrated by this!!!!

katie, guess you got your run in last night? how was it? i love gs c and t - esp the pus:eek: - got it on tap today too. your eats sound pretty darn good, and just think, today is thursday for you:D

kate, how is your knee doing with the step? that is great you can do it. your shoulder will get better too. good job with the eats.

becky, today is a new day. good plan with the sweets never had a churro:confused:

not sure of our plans for the day. eats were spot on yday, so i am glad about that. i need to go for a run today. aidan has an appt for shots at 3:30:( he will be such a bear. and, i am totally hormonal today. i think i will just focus on getting my cardio in for my hormones and try to keep the eats in check. i am feeling more rested with the sleeping in, so that is pretty neat. i also think my eating is easier to keep in check without woing out so early. not sure why. bbiab
 
Nina, I just had my first one (churro) a few weeks ago. They serve them warm and they are crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside and cinnamony! I wish I'd never tried one !!!

I ended up doing GS BSB instead of CT - I opened the DVD case and Scooby Doo was in it!:p Couldn't find the disk, so I just did the other one instead wasting all my time searching.

Breakfast was ..... what it was. I hate green pepper.:p Why do I continue to buy it? Becase it's so much cheaper than the danged yellow, red, and orange peppers. I try to talk myslef into it saying it will taste better this time.. No such luck!:p

I just did Jillians BFBM and it ROCKED!!!!!!!! I know I was extra sluggish after my rotten eating yesterday but that one left me winded and sweating !

A keeper for me .......my favorite of hers so far !!
 
Good Morning Everyone!

I am sore today between the kettlebells and the plyo workout yesterday. I might need a good stretch tonight. This morning I did Seasun Z's Stepping up. The choreo is complex but she has a modifier which helps as you learn the workout. It is a good ss step workout. Today will be work, maybe some mattress shopping. Eats will be cleaner since DH and the cleaning lady ate most of the cookies yesterday. Only 3 left that I like.

Lisa, I am glad I live away from my in-laws. On Christmas they asked us to pick up Bloody Mary mix because they did not get any. DH told them we weren't driving past a grocery store.
Becky, I always want to try another Jillian workout but I am afraid they won't be intense enough. Glad this one got your hr up. I like churros but I don't love them.
Kate, I am not a huge green pepper fan either. I usually splurge for the red ones.
Katie, too funny about scooby doo being in GS CT. Hope you can find it tonight.
Nina, ooh shots are not fun. Glad the extra sleep is helping. Maybe I should go to bed earlier.

Re peppers - I always buy the colored ones too but threw a green one in just to see.....always disappointed.:p Ah, well....it's a green veggie that tastes better than lima beans!:D:D

Clean eats here but I want to drown myself in mini pb cups. My grandma gave a bunch to DDs....they are in the freezer CALLING MY NAME!! Trying to tell the voices to shut up!:D

kate, ITA, not a big fan of grn pepper, just eat them because i hate buying the other color/expensive ones. but im the rare young'un checking out the mark down fruits/veggies in the back of the store, me and all the old ladies =) i often find them there super cheap. just gotta use them right away is all, or cut off the bad spot.

katie, love gym styles, i got good results back in the day. funny tho, C&T was my fave, for me any wt legs is dread, GS was no exception.

nina, shots = no fun. do something fun right after! how are the kiddos doing with dh gone and when does he return? you might have said and i cant remember.

clintonya (and kate), i eat better at home, opposite of you. my guys pretty much eat what i eat (because they have to =) and i just dont keep crap around. even when i bake i usually i send it off right away. out by myself, i can pick a decent/healthy-ish restaurant but with dh, he picks garbage and doesnt understand why i care, "its only once in a while"... grrr.

more FD, had to see sil sunday at another get-together. kill her with kindness is getting old after the xmas performance, over the top even for her. so i practiced my ignoring, lol.

went to power today. it was good but i whacked my ebow really hard last night (dont ask) and for tris i did try but then had to excuse myself to the ladies room and water fountain. i HATE standing there watching everyone work. step class yesterday. no wo sunday. eating has been only so/so, weve been out a lot, get-togethers and errands and shopping and returns. as i said before, out for me = not the best eats =(

Becky, I love green peppers and lima beans, too. Altho, I didn't like lima beans until I had them at a local Ethiopian restaurant. Yum.

wosdone - 12 mile run and gs c and t. i did 4 sets of 25 pus instead of drop sets. minimal rest btwn:eek: it felt good. eats are clean, and no major cravings despite my hormones. i added in extra good carbs today, and that seems to have helped.

anne, a movie sounds fun. i have always wanted to try ethiopian food.

wendy, sorry for the smashed elbow. i eat out maybe 2 times a month - usually make decent choices i guess. it is just a foreign thing to me. everyone is okay with dh gone, but it is just kind of sad. 2 weeks left and counting!

kate, wtg with the wo. i cannot wait to try the circuit wos. hope to do cb on thursday, if my dvds are here by then.

colleen, good job with the eats and wos. how much are you working this week? new years plans?

katie, sorry, not a green pepper fan here either. they make my stomach hurt. is your garage climate controlled?
